A:  The diameter is slightly larger on the Q60 0.710" The Q58 is 0.700" So you really need to verify your supply hose size. I think the 0.700" is the most common size. All of the fittings that are 0.710 have the blue insert in the connection sleeve.

A:  “Goof” plugs (#G79B) can be used to plug holes in the ½” poly tubing, or to close off the end of the ¼” micro-tubing. A:  It sounds like you are trying to plug a 1/4" line. If that's the case this will NOT work. This is meant to plug the ends of the 1/2" main lines. The primary use for these is to open the lines and drain them during winter in cold freezing climates.

A:  Maybe you can take the end cap to cap off the soaker hose. I used it to cap the end of drip irrigation line that’s on a timer. I have also used the end piece to replace the cap on the irrigation valve that works on my timer. Hope this was helpful.
