Easy modification
Like some of the other reviewers, I had some problems with the flow rate. I found that by drilling out the inside diameter of the head, it helped a lot. I used a 13/64 drill bit. I now have better flow. I can still adjust the rate and turn it off as before.

I needed something to water a smaller area (individual planter) and control the flow of the water...
I needed something to water a smaller area (individual planter) and control the flow of the water, this was it! It was very simple to attach to 1/4 micro tubing and works really well. This was my first attempt at using a drip system in my garden, and this made it super easy to install and very functional. I would recommend this product to any novice or expert gardener looking for simple irrigation ideas.

We used these on bushes and trees around our yard....
We used these on bushes and trees around our yard. Not having a lot of water, we buried 1/2" line using a homemade "wire plow" past all the items to be watered. Then branched 1/4" line off the 1/2" to an Adjustable Sprayer Stake or 2 at each tree or bush. Works great.

I highly recommend these sprayers. It is fully adjustable even with higher than advertised PSI. I ran at 60PSI and adjusted the flow at the valve and they worked great. It adjusts from a slow drip to a micro sprinkler.

"Hot-Tip" for drip systems
This drip system sprayer comes with a connector attached so all you have to have is your piece of 1/4" line and the hole punch to install each one. When you buy these in the 25 pack you can finish a whole boarder and only have to open one package! Very easy and convenient. Also these are adjustable sprayers so you can make sure all your plants are receiving only as much water as they need. We really think this is a "Hot-Tip" for drip system users!

The One To Get
I grabbed every last bubbler, dripper and sprayer I could find at HD. This was the best, both for pots and in ground. The way it sprays, it gives uniform coverage, from a small circle to 3ft+. The 25 pack isn't available in all stores, but it's worth seeking it out since they are much cheaper than buying them in 3 or 5 packs. Or at Ewings or online.
Best of all, they come with the little barb, just snap it off and pit it on the end of the 1/4" drip tubing and stick it in the 1/2" main line. I have installed 100 of these (4 packs) and plan on getting more. I've had them maybe 6 months and, while they get caked in calcium from the water, they don't appear to have any clogging issues like most other drip products. I've since replaced all my drip hoses and emitters with these.
In the picture, I have the sprayer on an angle. Like this, it gets nearly perfect coverage of a 18" planter with no dry spots. I leave them on for 3-4 minutes each on a timer. Any more and it's overkill.
