DRYLOK Original Masonry Waterproofer is ideal when water is leaking through existing masonry or you need to protect new construction, this proprietary formula is guaranteed to stop water. Can you use on concrete patio slab? Can you apply with roller vs brush? Can product be tinted with white to make a light gray? Many thx!

I don't know about using it on an outside concrete slab. I think there are better products for that purpose. You can use a roller rather than a brush just use one with a thick knap so it gets in all the crevices, etc. About tinting it, not sure, but I think they have a grey colored version, not just the white and it is pretty light if I remember correctly.

As long as the surface is clean and has no low spots. Water that sits in a pool on this will cause eventual breakdown. Concrete sealer and a stain are better for floor applications.

If you start with the white base and not the gray and the desired color isn’t extreme requiring a lot of color short then it will hold the color without compromising it’s waterproofing abilities.

It worked for us. I brushed it on my basement walls to get it a bit thicker then I added another coat about 24 hours later with the same brush. Kept brush in a freezer ziplock and put it in the fridge.

We don't recommend tinting the Ready-mixed gray but the White can be tinted to a few colors. DRYLOK® Extreme has more colors to choose from. (about 33 colors) Available only at The Home Depot and can be seen here: https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/b4/b4b085ba-267f-4810-86c8-70bd54ddee67.pdf

Ammira - We're sorry you feel this way. Every department in our company has looked for your communication. We do not have any emails, letters, or phone calls/messages addressing your concern. I do need to point out that DRYLOK® Original Waterproofer was the incorrect product for your application. DRYLOK® Original is not for use on floors or any horizontal surface subject to foot or vehicle traffic (noted on label). If water seeping up through the floor is an issue in your shed, we recommend our DRYLOK® Floor & Wall Waterproofer which is designed for floors (no automobiles). If you wanted a floor paint, DRYLOK® Concrete Floor Paint or E-1 1 Part Epoxy would be excellent choices. We hope you will call in or email us to discuss your project. We do 100% stand behind our products and our warranty. We hope to hear from you soon. Our phone number is 1-800-272-3235 or email ugllabs@ugl.com wtuckerugl

This product is a little costly but worth it, nothing else comes close in comparison- unless surface is perfectly flat with no voids or cracks it is difficult to use a roller, product is very thick that using a roller is difficult regardless. When using a brush over a large area the thickness of this product causes it to cake up and a little difficult to spread, you don't need to worry about running or drip mark's it's to thick. A little costly, it just might be better to spend a few extra dollars for this product that will last a decade(s) -vs- a cheaper product that will have to be repainted every few years. Product does not fade (gray), does not peel over time, has little to no odor.

Looks great!! I used it on the outside cement block foundation. It is very thick but goes on easily. I assume it will hold up because I have used on my inside cellar walls 15 years ago and it still looks good.

Works exactly as advertised! Low odor and looks great. Used over 12 gallons on my basement; each gallon covers 100 sq feet (i.e. a 10’ x 10’ space), and that isn’t far off. I needed two heavy coats on all surfaces. Looks great after tho.
