Beautiful Finish
This product delivered a beautiful finish in an otherwise dreary basement. It’s very thick and the cement kept drinking the first coat Took me over an hour. Once I got that first coat on the second coat was easy breezy. I used both brush and roller. I love the white clean bright look of my newly painted basement. I still have one little section to finish. Thanks drylock ! I would recommend this product.

Excellent, Easy, Safe and Cost Effective
We have a concrete wall that was seeping water through cracks - as much as two inches would accumulate at the base of the wall next to the oil burner. We used 2-3 coats this summer and it took just less than one gallon on a nice 80 degree day and was dry the next day. No leaks at all since! Safe to use right next time the burner too. We left the bulkhead open and wore masks and had no problem with fumes. Great product!!

Very good stain & moisture blocker
Very thick paint. I would definitely recommend this paint for stain blocking and blocking moisture thru your block walls. I used this paint on my walls 15 years ago and it worked very well.

Great Sealer
I am really impressed with this stuff! Coverage and thickness is impeccable and i still have a lot left. Id like to see how it looks in a years time. I wish i had more color options but it has definitely served its purpose of sealing cinder foundation.

A must have for any finished basement or cellar door areas.
Not the easiest to apply but works great. Purchase only when ready to start project and ask the kind paint department associates at your favorite Home Depot to put the bucket on the paint shaker -this will save you a lot of effort. Works great at sealing the block and making it ready to paint. Sealed block is more resistant to moisture intrusion and helps keep the paint in place and last longer. I highly recommend it!

Horrible product
I sealed driveway with this stuff, what a mistake. The tires from my cars leave black marks that are set into the sealer. I waited a week before parking a car on it, way longer than the directions. What a waste of money. I should never have used it. Lots of money and lots of time wasted. Total junk.

Did you read the instructions? Did you understand you used the wrong product? When you use the wrong product for a project, it's not a product issue. DRYLOK® Original is NOT FOR USE ON DRIVEWAYS. There is nothing on the label telling you how long to wait to park your vehicle on it because it's not for use on floors or a driveway...its for interior and exterior vertical surfaces only. This review should be removed as should the duplicate review on another item that was also used incorrectly used on a driveway. Please review the instructions and use the correct products for your project.

they don’t stand behind their warranty
We put three coats of paint on our shed floor and within a week water stais were appearig from water penetration below slab. Iwrote drylok amd requested refund since they say they warrant product,sent photos and reciepts with no response from the company. Nothing! Dont expect them to stand behind warranty n

DRYLOK® Original is not for use on floors or any horizontal surface subject to foot or vehicle traffic (noted on label). If water seeping up through the floor is an issue in your shed, we recommend our DRYLOK® Floor & Wall Waterproofer which is designed for floors (no automobiles).
