My garage doors have not had new rollers in 18 years and the bearings were definitely worn. These rollers seem well built and I suspect they will last as long as the originals. Evidently these rollers are pretty standard across quite a large variety of multi-panel garage doors. The brackets that hold them vary a bit from videos I watched but the process is close to the same for installation. BTW, there were no instructions with my set of rollers but watching several videos gave me all the info I needed to do the job. The lowest bracket on my doors holds the cable that operates the extension springs that run along the rails. You don't remove that bracket to replace the roller. You pry open the rail a bit for a length of about 2 inches and pry out the roller. Then you can easily slide out the old roller and slide in the new. The next tree brackets are nearly the same and held by 4 hex head cap screws on my door. I removed the screws with an impact wrench and replaced each roller --one at a time since the brackets are a bit different and you don't want to take more than one bracket off at once. The top brackets are a two-piece affair and you can either remove the entire bracket or just the part that has the roller tunnel. I did one each way on each side and there didn't seem to be much difference either way. The entire process took less than an hour working with ne bum shoulder. Please note that this set of 10 is for a 7 foot door and most 8 ft doors require 12 rollers. The end result is a garage door that runs much smoother. Now I just need to take care of lubricating the chain and my door will be in good shape. Two more doors to go.

Great upgrade for your garage door which will reduce the sound of the door opening and closing. My rollers still worked but were very old and most certainly were not the same quality as these Dura-Lift Ultra-Seal rollers with 13-Ball Bearings. These are outstanding rollers and there is only one model in their line that is better (Ultra-Life). Replacement can be performed via many different methods which you can watch on YouTube. Never unbolt your bottom hinge. It is under extreme tension and unbolting it could not only damage your garage door but also your body. Since I performed the replacement alone, I used multiple methods. For the top roller bracket, I unbolted the carrier to easily swap in the new roller. For the middle three hinges, I removed the hinges entirely, one at a time, to swap out the rollers. For the bottom hinge I opened the door fully, bent out the curved lip of the track so the roller could be popped out with a claw hammer, swapped the roller then hammered the track back into shape. Maybe 30 minutes total. If I had a helper to hold the door, I would have used the bent track method for all rollers and have done this with another door in about 10 minutes. These rollers are very quiet and they are extremely well built. The bearings are sealed and have covers on each side to keep out the dirt plus they have extra lubrication in a channel to distribute over time. If your door is noisy, this is the upgrade for you.

They look like really good quality Sealed Rollers with 100,000 door cycles for fewer than 15 bucks. I just installed them yesterday and they worked like a charm. Bring the noise down drastically, fi you have chain drive garage door opener do not blame on these wheels for the noise. These are far superior compare to my previous ones. The problem I had with my garage door was, Since the diameter of the rollers were smaller due to being used for 8+ years, hammering(Banging noise) sound coming out of garage door when outside was windy (since garage door was going back and forth and slammed against the frame) and during opening and closing. But after changing them with these rollers, I have fixed the problem. Best of all no needs for greasing the wheels ever thy are sealed. Of course time will tell if these are Hi quality rollers.

What a difference these rollers made for the garage door. Prior to installing these new rollers the garage door was very noisy when opening or closing along with a lot of wobbling of the door. But now the door is very quiet and seems to be much more stable in the roller tracks. Installation was very easy - search YouTube videos for "How To Easily Replace Garage Door Castors Rollers" a very simple and quick way to install (involves slightly bending the track and removing the roller at the bend). Using this method it only took me about 20 minutes to do one door or ten rollers. The high-quality construction should help it last for a long time.

Very nice product. Bought them to see if it would help to quiet my 20 year old door. Not so much. Problem I believe is that my door is metal, and not insulated so i believe it will always be too noisy.

What can I say very nice change from the stock rollers now my garage door is very quiet The only thing that creeks is the door itself, the only sound I get when the door rises or closes is like if A gust of wind was blowing against the door.

I had to replace the springs in my garage, so I called a repair tech. I don't fool with springs that big under tension! The repair tech said I should replace the rollers myself. He said it would reduce wear on the opener, and make the doo way more quiet. It did all that and more. Great product!
