A: Hello, Thank you for your question. The back of the dish has a flange about the thickness of the tile. The tile is cut so the flange can mount directly to the wall.
A: I would charge $135 to $150, including the cost of the soap dish and adhesive.
A: I'm sorry but I don't know the answer to your question. While I purchased the soap dish, my tile installer/contractor installed it and I was not present when he did so. I would suggest contacting Daltile for an answer to your question.
A: I broke my original soap dish that was exactly like the one I bought. I chipped out the broken soap dish very carefully to prevent damaging the original tile. Once I chipped out the cement that held the original soap dish then I inserted the new cement that was needed to install the new soap dish. Once it set and dry, I caulked the new soap dish. It looked like nothing ever happened. Very easy. Just make sure you are very careful chipping the old soap dish out and not damaging your tile. Thanks
A: Hello, Although the Restore 6 in. x 3 in. x 4 in. Glazed Ceramic Soap Dish in Bright White may be installed over most structurally sound substrates, it is best to remove any moldings, trim, appliances or anything that could interfere with installation. Good luck with your project!
A: It’s possible, but it would be better to remove tile to install.
A: The back is relatively flat and yes there are two holes in back in order to integrate the mortar. I also screwed 2 stainless screws in wall, aligned with the 2 holes for additional strength.
