            Very good refrigerator - bad control placement
            This refrigerator does a great job of keeping things cold. The only problem I have is that the temperature control is on the outside, on the top right hand corner. As this sits on a shelf unit, accessing the control is very difficult - both to see and to adjust. The marking on the control doesn't help to identify which way is colder. Since adjusting a refrigerator is always time consuming - adjust it and wait, repeat - until it is at the desired temperature, this is really inconvenient.

                Danby fridge has flexible uses
                Using it in my camper. Fits perfectly. A new camper fridge would have cost $1600. I only camp at full service spots so this is a much more reasonable solution.

                Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are pleased to hear you are happy with your new Danby fridge. You stated that you are using the fridge in a camper and although this is not a recommended usage you are camping at full service lots to ensure the fridge has the proper power supply. We would recommend that when the ambient temperatures are ranging below 40F and you are not heating the camper that you unplug the unit as the lower temperatures can cause the oil in the compressor to get thick enough to damage it. Unfortunately if this were the case then the fridge would not be covered under warranty.

                  Good refrigerator
                  In general it is a good refrigerator. Only one down thing, it has a temperature control knob on the back wall and you will need to pull fridge out of the counter in order to adjust the temperature.
