Keyless entry for the win
This was easy to install. It actually took longer to remove the old lock than to set up the new one. It's been in use for a week and no problems so far. The keyless entry is feature that I never knew I needed, but can truly appreciate.

Great product for the price. Easy to install and program. It has an adjuster which allows installation with a standard bore hole and a smaller size one (like mine).

Stopped working after about one year. Very cheap. Would not recommend. Hard to get anyone at customer service. 0 stars. Piece of junk. Spend a bit more and get a Schlag

Defiant came through for the WIN!
I first purchased the Kwikset Powerbolt 2. I spent a day installing and troubleshooting that lock. I made the decision the next day to return the Kwikset and try out the Defiant brand. Skeptical, I wasn’t sure I would have success installing the Defiant keypad lock either. Well I’m here to say it took me 30 mins or less to install and program this lock and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. If you are on the fence about it, just buy it already and save yourself the headache!

This locking system is awesome. We removed a Schlage which was only 3 weeks old bc it could not remember or keep our code. I was so unhappy with it. We got Defiant instead. A much better lock.

Fell apart during installation
Seemed like an easy install.
Very poor quality.
The keypad and everything fell apart immediately upon installation.
Ironically, I was replacing a crappy lock made in Taiwan for this product also made in Taiwan. Now I have to be overnight without a lock.
