I love this knob set and have used the same...
I love this knob set and have used the same set on my back door for years.I bought a more expensive set for my new front door and did not like it at all. I switched it out for this one at half the price. I am very pleased with this set and would highly recommend it.

Is the door locked?
I bought the defiant combo door lock set. Installation was quick and easy. The problem sounds trivial, is inside they lock with the indicators opposite of each other. The deadbolt is locked horizontally to the ground and the door handle is locked vertically. This is seriously disconcerting to my very OCD child. I tried to see if there was someway to change of the locks so that they both show locked in the same direction, but neither can be changed. Every night someone asks if the door is locked.

Hi Alicia, The Defiant locks do lock opposite of each other and unfortunately there is no way to change that. If the lock isn't working out for you, you should be able to return it to Home Depot under the warranty. Thank you for your review.

Poor quality discolored within 1 year, broken latch on multiple units, cheap screws and thin metal make it impossible to tighten without stripping or bending, screws always back-out, not a lifetime warranty at Home Depot must register and keep receipt
