The model 36-6023 10" Portable Table Saw has a large 32 ½ inch rip capacity provides a stable surface for large materials. A rack and pinion fence system makes fence adjustments accurate, smooth and fast. Extremely competitive for this size of saw in the industry.

What is the difference between the 6013 and the 6023 besides the rolling stand.

Asked by Mike May 17, 2020

Answer

6023 also has a rack and pinion fence adjustment. 6013 has a similar sliding fence system, but without the gears + adjustment knob. On it you have to pull it out or push it in by hand. It requires an extra second or two of time to get the measurement right.

No, it will not fit a 96-014 stand with this saw.

how is the saw mounted to a table?

Answer

I built a stand with an outfeed table and simply have the saw sitting on it. You could mount through the feet if you wanted but the weight alone holds it prettey much in place.

delivered, disappointed, returned the next day
First thing was to check the table to verify it was flat. Wow! I was shocked how bad it was with all the good reviews. Throat plate was flat but when put in place it rattled and was not flush with the table. Stright edge and light showed nast dip bwtween the fence and blade. Don’t know anything else about the saw because I didn’t put it together. Boxed it up and returned to Home Depot

It is a great saw, and I’m very happy with it. The telescoping rip fence is an especially nice feature. The only drawback I’ve encountered so far is that it’s a bit difficult changing the blade. This is because it is a little tricky getting the wrench on the inner arbor nut due to a very narrow access opening. But other than that, I’m very satisfied with this saw.

Decent unit for the money, but I do not like that the angle adjustment is manual and the rip fence requires an Allen wrench each time to adjust it.

Great table saw! This is my first table saw, but just in the short amount of time I've owned it I've put it through it's paces! I've done everything but use a dato stack on it so far! Definitely recommend!

The saw is great, but the miter guage is very cheaply made. But I paid the extra for a good miter guage and it is well worth it.

I am very happy with this Delta table saw. After reading several reviews, I chose this model because of the fence system and table width. I have already made dozens of cuts, and so far everything is accurate and true. I gave the product 4 stars for one reason - the plastic crank for raising and lowering the blade is very cheaply made (mine cracked the first day of use). While it is functional, I would expect a higher quality from a historic brand like Delta.
