Flimsy Drain Opener
After 4 years the tab behind the faucet which opens and closes the drain snapped off, leaving the drain in a closed position. Handle with Caution. Otherwise, it is a nice design.

Sad Story
I just purchased one; thanks for the review. Believe it or not as I was coming up as a child, I had to wipe dry the sink and counter after use. This reminds me and this is way. First, this to me was a very expensive faucet, so I wouldn't had thought water would be let in the sprout, right? Second, I wouldn't have thought I would have to wipe out the sprout for the amount of money it caused. Third, with this being said, I think yes, we do, unless we want to rust built up on our beautiful, expensive faucet as shown in customer review pictures.
Therefore, I think it's not the brand but how the horizontal sprout is made/positioned. That is, I think there is no way all the water would flow out in a horizontal position, when the handle for the water is stopped, right? One would think we, as customers, would have known this before a purchase, right? Well, I know I did not before a purchase. I hope this info does help the next customer, regarding whether or not one is willing to wipe down after use. Some people do this every day in their sinks/counter tops too.
Take care; it's a pretty expensive sprout but different too. I just have to remember to wipe down after every use or else. Also, I think I saw a similar expensive sprout whereas the tip had a tilt in it. Now that may work better with potential standing water. How I wish I had seen that one perhaps.
Also, for the money, it comes with all plastic components (under counter) but someone told me all these types do too, not just Delta. That is, things are not made to last unlike in the past for sure. For instance, the water tube that come with this product is so thin that I think it's easier to get clogged, especially with particles in water. That is, I live in Florida where there is hard water. But I hope to stay happy with this product and without any plumbing issues for a very long time.

Rusting that worsens over time
After about two weeks of first use, I noticed a rusty speck at the end of the faucet. Unfortunately, the rust had gotten worse over time and looks like the photos after 2.5 years. This is a huge shame because I enjoyed the aesthetic and the perfect amount of water flow. I wonder if I just received a bad batch? Have others encountered the same?

Looks so fancy but it doesn’t come with the pop up drain!!! For this price it should! It caused issues with the installation since you can’t just go to the store and get that part in matte black! This color you would have to buy online.

Nice faucet, no drain included
Buyer beware. There is no drain assembly with this very expensive unit. $350 bucks for a friggin bath faucet that doesn't even come with a drain. No worries though, they only want $70 bucks for the matching drain....
