The components are incredibly high quality. The brass valve assembly weights a good 3 lbs, so you know it's going to last for the long term. The shower head and hand-held wand are plastic chrome, but of such high reflection it's like a mirror. It was surprisingly difficult to take a photo of the surfaces. The spray heads both have small rubber nipples on each individual steam hole. This is fantastic when it comes to preventing long-term hard water from building up, as simply flexing the rubber with your fingers will break apart any sediment or mineral residue. I'm also a HUGE fan of the design, with a shower head that also becomes the wand. So when you want a closer wash of specific body parts, you don't have to sacrifice the shower itself. Awesome!

Delta Ashlyn In2ition Shower Faucet Kit in Chrome – nice quality, 2 in 1 shower kit. The Delta Ashlyn In2ition Shower kit is a very nice shower system with a combined 2 in 1 shower faucet and hand shower all in one. This combo, which is often not a feature offered at this price point, is a nice convenience and a perfect replacement for an older single shower head and it will be a nice upgrade to your shower. The Ashlyn has the In2ition shower system which includes a 5.25 inch shower can and 12.5 inch shower wand. The 5 ft hose that connects the hand shower to the can is a nice length and the hand shower seems to fit tightly in the rain can when attached. The nice thing about this system is you can use both the can and wand simultaneously for a higher pressured rain shower or you can use the rain can and shower wand separately for bathing children or washing or rinsing hair. The hand shower is especially handy for cleaning and rinsing my tile shower walls and glass shower doors. It saves a lot of time and makes cleaning the shower alot easier. Installation of this kit was fairly easy, I already had a Delta valve installed so I only had to change the back plate and knob and attach the shower head and hand shower to the shower arm. Total installation time was less than 15 minutes. Once installed the shower can and hand shower both had good water pressure and I did not have any leaks at the connections with the provided washers. (Note: if you do not currently have a Delta pressure balance valve you would have to purchase this part separately. The benefit of the pressure balance valve is you can maintain a consistent water temperature at a particular setting. Also just a side note, if you are not super handy I would have a plumber install the valve just to assure there aren’t any leaks where the pipes connect to the valves. A slow leak behind the wall is not that obvious but could cause a lot of damage in the long term). The biggest negative of this shower kit is several parts are made of plastic, this includes the back plate, diverter knob and shower can and wand. The 60 inch hose is made well and very nice quality. I have noticed a lot of plastic in many of the newer shower heads particularly at this price point but I do wonder about durability and whether the finish will gradually rub off. For now it does look great and functions well. I have had Delta faucets and showers in my home for nearly 15 years and have not had any problems with leaking or deterioration and I can attest to the fact that Delta stands behind all of the products for the lifetime of the product; this includes valves, washers and even issues with finish or function of the product. Delta definitely honors their lifetime warranty and my experiences with Customer Service have been top notch. Overall, I would recommend this Delta In2ition shower system if you are looking for an attractive chrome shower system that’s fairly good quality at a low to mid-range price point. Some of the parts are plastic but it is very functional and delivers good water pressure. This shower kit has a 2 in 1 shower head which is a really nice feature and the look of this shower kit is a really nice upgrade for an older shower system.

Delta has this very nice shower trim kit called Institution but it's actually spelled "In2ition." It's from their Ashlyn collection. You can use it in conjunction with their model R10000-UNBX rough-in kit or any other make and model standard rough-in. It's sleek and simple. Here's how it works: There's a detachable hand wand that when put back in place, inserts into the shower head. Look closely at the picture. When you detach the wand, it can be turned on by itself or at the same time as the shower head so that water is coming out of both devices, Pretty cool. I used it to replace an existing trim kit that was old and pitted. It took me about 90 minutes from start to finish and I didn't have to mes s with the existing pipes in the wall. Because it was "standard" everything fit perfectly. One other thing that I like about this kit is that it's made by a good company. Delta has excellent customer service as well as excellent technical support.

DELTA ASHLYN IN2ITION 1-HANDLE SHOWER FAUCET TRIM KIT IN CHROME (VALVE NOT INCLUDED), GREY is very nice looking shower faucet. Its design is bit distinct from others. Its handle looks cute and shiny. You will have to purchase a valve that goes with this. I had to figure out how the handheld shower head goes into the shower head frame. It is not exactly a tight fit. To me it was little too weird. You click it from the side and hang it. After I figured it out, it was easy enough but still bit weird. Handheld has several different type of setting. Overall, very nice shower faucet.

The Delta Ashlyn In2ition 1-Handle Shower Faucet Trim Kit in Chrome is another quality product that will last a lifetime. The whole family loves this shower because of its unique design and features. I would advise getting in the shower and figure out what setting configuration you want because there is a variety to choose from which is a huge plus. The Hand Shower and Shower Head in One is a great feature and once again Delta does not disappoint! Installation is super easy and it literally took me five minutes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this shower trim kit because I needed to update mine as it sprung a leak so when I got this I was excited to install it! Well I didn’t think it would be much work but I was wrong the instructions was not very easy to understand so I have to YouTube how to install the shower knobs (that was my main issue) since it needed the 4 way valve and I had to install that also. But once I got it put together it had no issues the square shape shower head and spout add a sleek design to my shower! I love the shower head features that I can either have the head going, the removable head going alone or I can have both at the same time ! Plus I can adjust the way I want the shower to come out in like a stream or jetted or shower so many options to choose from !

We can not wait to use our new Delta Ashlyn in2ition 1-handle faucet trim kit in chrome. This is very attractive and well made, yet it is still light weight. This shower faucet has a broad shower spray but it's added value is the the center section doubles as a hand held shower wand. While using the wand, the out section of the shower head continues to spray. If you only want the hand wand to spray, there is a option to shut off the shower head spray but continue to use the wand. This wand is very handy when you need to spray directly on areas close up. We use it to spray our backs without getting our hair wet. This would be really nice if you need to sit in the shower and need to use a wand. Handy if you have some physical limitations. The wand has a nice grip on it, makes it easier to hold. We included some picture of all the parts that come with it. Installation can be tricky, but the instructions are 6 pages long and very helpful. Our shower setup was not completely compatible, we needed a valve and some plumbing to connect the new handle shutoff, The head installed easily.

Whether you'd like one head or two to spray, one high and one low, different spray settings on each, everything is adjustable. Adjustments are simple: for one or two head spray, turn the lever on the right up or down until your desired setting is achieved. Whether tall or short tilting either the main shower head and/or the sprayer holder will give you the height you'd like even if that adjustment is having one spray high and the other spray low and vice versa. For strongest water pressure turn on only one head, it doesn't matter which. Install was easy and without leaks, I did it myself without breaking a sweat or a nail. Faucet trim was not as easy, so I had a licensed and insured plumber "handle" that part.

Clean and refreshed!! This Delta Ashlyn In2ition 1-Handle Shower Faucet Trim Kit in Chrome works great, and looks great also. Nobody will see it, but I am sure when we ever put the house up for sale it will be appresiated. The water flow is more than enough, but think whe we use the hand head, the other part of the shower head is still spewing upon me. The install was super easy and we kept the same neck that was on it since it was identical. It has features I have never seen on showerheads like thepause function. It allows you to reduce the water flow to a trickle while shaving. This is great.
