Doesn't heat medium bathroom
It's like having no exhaust fan. It isn't worth the electricity to run it.

This was purchased to install in the ceiling of my bath where there was no prior fan or heater. I had limited access to my attic and it proved to be a challenge to get it mounted. The exhaust tube is very hard to get into the hole without dislodging it from the unit, I ended up having to secure it with a small screw. The wiring was no problem, however one should be aware it is a 3 wire with ground setup and requires a dual switch connection to power it. It should be noted that you must be VERY precise when measuring and cutting the hole for the unit. The cover does not leave a lot of room for mistakes when cutting. I recommend measuring 3 time and being sure prior to cutting. It is not as quiet and I was hoping, but then it does produce a lot of air and the exhaust is very powerful. The cover mounting was also a bit of a challenge to get a flush fit. Not a bad unit for the cost for sure, My rating is based on the effort to install it and the noise level.

It is doing great after a couple of weeks of using it. Gets the poop smell and moisture out from the shower. I can hear the fan but it's not bad. The heater does great and I'm happy with the factory thermostat with the preset of 80°. The price I thought was reasonable. It was a new installation and it was fairly easy. Overall I'm pretty tickled about it.

We find this heater/exhaust fan to be perfect for our needs. It replaced a cheap builders exhaust fan; an electrician installed it last week and added an additional circuit and wall switch. We used a double paddle switch to eliminate need for 5th rocker on wall. He enlarged the 8x8 opening to accommodate the larger size with no trouble. The heater heats up our 100 square foot bathroom very nicely as long as we turn it on about 5 minutes before beginning our showers. it is EXTREMELY quiet, much better than heaters we've had in previous homes and than the builders exhaust fan. Because it's installed in the ceiling it takes up no wall space and has clean lines. We are so pleased with this heater and will really enjoy it next winter when it is cold again. It was shipped free to our home and delivered quickly. The price was certainly "right" and it is a good value for what we paid. We recommend it.

We had someone install 3 of these so I cannot speak on the installation. The quality is great though. The heater works well and the fan and light are great. The light is not overly bright so middle of the night bathroom trips are not blinding. I would recommend these, well worth the money.

This product was a typical Nutone easy install, and it is a good value for the features that are included. Im not sure why they are listing this as “virtually silent” since I didn’t notice much difference from other exhaust fans on the market. The reason for the 2 star rating is my complete dissatisfaction with the light feature, which is insufficient to adequately illuminate a 4’x6’ shower, much less a whole bathroom! Nutone fixtures are commonly used in remodels, and they often replace the ceiling fixture. Nutone needs to be mindful of this. I figured a quick fix would be to just replace the bulb with a 75w daylight LED, but to my horror, the bulb is an unusual fluorescent that gives me no other choices.
I also have a slight issue with most of these retrofit heaters. They are typically used in small spaces, so it would be nice to have some of the registers pointed downward, rather than the typical sideways, since their primary function is to keep us warm in the shower.
