Thank you for your question, Drummer! The aerator to the model 141-DST faucet has 15/16"-27 threads. I would recommend contacting Brita for information on adapters that would be compatible. Best Regards, Benjamin

My faucet, exactly like this one, is dripping out of the end, pretty bad. How do I correct?

Asked by Anita February 2, 2019

Answer

I'm sorry to hear that your faucet is dripping, Anita! This unit has a ceramic cartridge that has been rigorously tested and found to last up to 5 million cycles without leaking. However, over time, debris in the water can cause a drip by preventing a water-tight seal under the gasket on the bottom of the cartridge. Please turn off the water supplies under the sink, loosen the set screw, remove the handle, then unscrew the cap and bonnet. Wipe the bottom of the cartridge and the valve where the cartridge seats with a soft cloth, then reinstall the cartridge. Please tighten the bonnet nut hand-tight plus a 1/4 turn with a wrench. For further assistance, please reach out to our customer service team as we would be happy to help. Can you take the tip off the faucet to fit a water filter on the end of the faucet

Asked by Bunny August 3, 2018
2
Answers

Thank you for your question, Bunny. The aerator can be unscrewed from the spout by hand. You may attach a filter to this faucet using the right adapter. The gasket from the aerator may provide a water-tight seal, or you may need to purchase another gasket. Note that the spout has an internal tube, so a leak from this connection could cause water to come out below the sink. Best regards, Jon

Answers

Thank you for your question, Maxixe! The model 141-SS-DST has a thread pattern of 15/16"-27 male threading. We currently offer two swivel aerators with the same pattern, RP63137 which is only available in chrome and RP40372SS which comes in chrome or stainless steel. These aerators will work with faucets that have 15/16"-27 male threads but the RP63137 comes with a 55/64" - 27 female thread adapter as well. For all other sizes, you may be able to find a threaded adapter locally or online. https://thd.co/2HjY2Ew https://thd.co/2kO9DCB Best regards, Edward

Answer

Hello Keith, I'm sorry to hear that your faucet is leaking and would be happy to help! The bonnet nut may be loose, or there may be debris preventing a water-tight seal under the cartridge. Please turn off the water supplies under the sink, loosen the set screw, remove the handle, then unscrew the cap and bonnet. Check for debris under the cartridge and ensure sure it is seated properly, then tighten the bonnet hand-tight plus a 1/4 turn with a wrench. Here is a How-To Video that will show how to access the cartridge: https://www.deltafaucet.com/video-gallery/video-page?videoId=1KMlxNiWni8 If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 1-800-345-3358 or email customerservice@deltafaucet.com. I just installed this faucet in my laundry room. Easy to do. I have one problem. The faucet is held in place by a single threaded rod at the back of the faucet. When I tighten the nut, the faucet stem is pulled slightly backward and tilted, leaving a pretty sizable gap between the faucet stem and the circular base ring (see photo). Seems like a design flaw to me. If I known before I bought, I would not have purchased this faucet.

Simple, functional, and streamlined
This faucet is simple, functional, and as advertised. It looks great and works well. My super installed the faucet with no problems. It's a bit shorter than the faucet I replaced so that's my only complaint about it.

EXCELLET FAUCET !
I had to change out my pull-down/spray Kitchen faucet for the third time in 15 years. I was so sick of the pull-down types leaking from various points. Decided to go with a non-pull down type, and then added a screw on spray attachment, which works beautifully. NO LEAKS, NO SIDE SPRAYS, NO WASTE OF WATER. I feel as if I have gone back in time, to a more classic type of faucet, which will probably last me 15 years without giving me any issues. I have been trendy, forward-thinking and ultra modern in my Kitchen faucet purchases over the years but, frankly, this one works better than all the other more expensive models. So, I have gone back to tried and true, and am very pleased with this faucet.

A gentler flow faucet
As shown in the attached picture, the Collins Single Handle Faucet from Delta is on the left side of the picture. It is my second faucet in addition to the pull-down faucet with shower in the middle. I used the pull-down faucet for a quite a while before installing the second faucet. I needed to connect my water filter to the aerator joint of the faucet whenever I use the water filter. The pull-down faucet does not have the right diameter for my water filter connector and the shower head can't be removed like simple aerator. I finally found the Collins Single Handle Faucet that fits the bill perfectly. Its aerator is very easy to remove by hand once I loosened it. My first impression was that the water felt gentle when I washed my utensils in the kitchen sink. Unlike the middle pull-down faucet, it does not create a lot water splatter while washing in the kitchen sink. The gentle flow of water is a result of a slower water flow and thus it uses less water overall. I didn't install the Collins single handle faucet myself. I needed to get the plumbers to do it for me because they had to take out all of the existing configuration of copper pipes and reconfigured it to fit in the second faucet with separate emergency shutdown valves. It cost me a little over $500 just to install not to mention about the cost of purchasing the faucet. Anyway, the plumbers did a great job to put in a new copper pipes for cold and hot water supplies to the new and existing faucets in addition to the cold water supply to the ice maker for my refrigerator. As you can see, it is a rather complicated configuration under the sink to do it myself. Another thing I like about the Collins stainless steel faucet is that it matches the color of my other stainless steel faucet nicely as seen in the picture attached.

Great looking
My old faucet some how rusted and the metal pitted so I was looking to replace it with the same installation settings but better quality. This one I installed myself and I am 75 years old. It took me about 15 minutes. Looks great and works great for a few months now.

Great faucet!
We wanted a simple faucet for our farm house kitchen that would look nice with our granite countertops and this faucet fits the bill perfectly. It does not have any of the issues we've read so much about with the pull down faucets.

Beautiful faucet, easy as pie to install
My 85-year-old father-in-law needed a new faucet. His "pull-out" sprayer faucet kept binding up at the base and loosening up at the pull-out. With a one-hole sink, finding the right faucet was a challenge. This one was perfect! First, it has a collar at the base, so the swivel won't lime up and bind up quickly. Second, it's low profile enough that it doesn't get in the way of the window behind the sink. And finally, the spout is fully compatible with the small add-on aerators that turn to spray with a simple pull. It comes with hoses attached. It took just a few minutes to install. Works great. Looks fantastic!!
