AnswersHi Deb We were lucky and were able to get both sides into the studs. However it will probably will be strong, if you get one side into the stud, included is a wall anchor, you can use the wall anchor for the other side this will make it strong. If not sure, ask the MFG.

The combination of assist bars with regular bathroom fixtures was a brilliant idea, and allows for safety in the home without sacrificing style or looking like a hospital bathroom. This Toilet Paper Holder is SOLID, and will hold the weight of an elderly person while standing to get up from the toilet. I really like the hinged design of the roll-holder itself; just lift on one side and slide the roll on.

Delta "Decor Assist" toilet paper holder in champagne bronze is a solid, heavy and well-crafted piece. Upon receiving the box I was surprised at the weight right off the bat. There is a 300 pound weight limit on the assist handle and structure itself. The kit comes with everything necessary to install where a stud is present or without and onto gypsum board (sheetrock) or comparable wall boards. The color is unique and quite appealing. My mother-in-law is getting on in years and seems to use almost any protruding object when making her way around the house so I know she will like this beautifully crafted and well thought out piece of bathroom apparel. Much appreciated for the quality and usefulness with safety being at the top of the list.

This is first a work of art and then it is a toilet paper holder. For a taste of Royalty check this Champagne Bronze toilet paper holder out. It is substantial and old world traditional "heavy" I mean heavy with quality and workmanship and unbelievable. I just didn't imagine that no skimping was involved once I opened the box with regard to the quality of this item. It is truly a classic and the fact that it is so substantial assures you it will last at least a lifetime if not many.

We ended up putting this paper holder for the toilet into our vanity in our upstairs bathroom instead of inside a wall; which was no problem ! We just didn't use the assist bar with the install which is not a problem. Overall it has a really really good look and we are happy with how it turned out. The venetian bronze definitely matches our other venetian bronze accessories.

This is by far the finest toilet paper holder I've ever seen! The workmanship is exceptional and the material is high quality. It is heavy duty and absolutely beautiful. Installation is not as simple as your run of the mill toilet paper holders but that's because this one has an assist bar and should be mounted according to the instructions. Even so, installation is not complicated. When mounted properly, it can handle quite a bit of weight.

Great product! This toilet paper holder with assist bar is really nice. Installation is straight forward and simple, and with the right tools in hand can be installed rather quickly. The bar is really heavy duty, and stylish. I really like how simple it is to change the toilet paper on this, as there are no spring-loaded pieces to shoot across the room if you aren't paying attention. Simply lift the bar the toilet paper is on, slide off the old roll, slide on a new one and push the bar back into place. The bar comes with two bolts for putting into studs (installation requests that at least one stud is used in the installation of this bar) and a bar to slide inside the wall that you can use for extra support when only using drywall on one side.

This is a elegant, masculine, and solid toilet paper holder. Delta is making a line of toilet paper holders with assist bar that are excellent. They will hold a lot of weight if needed in case of a loss of balance. But you really don't need it for that at all. Alone by itself it is a beautiful toilet paper holder. It is on the larger size so if you want to put it in a half bath it might be kind of tight but it looks great in my master bathroom. Just a word of caution if you live in a townhouse and this toilet paper holder is going against the wall next to the adjacent wall you will need to purchase a zinc drywall anchor. You can get it a Home Depot and it is made by Hilti. Always try to secure one end to the stud and the other end with the anchor.

The "DECOR ASSIST TRADITIONAL TOILET PAPER HOLDER WITH ASSIST BAR IN CHROME" by Delta is a great upgrade to any bathroom! The fact that it doubles as an assist bar is an additional bonus & upgrade. The Chrome finish is Very High quality. Install is very simple & straightforward with the supplied hardware. you do need to locate one of the studs when installing this. i really enjoy the fact that to install or replace a roll of toilet Paper it is just a matter of lifting the lower bar... SO much better than the traditional two piece spring loaded roller

This is a real heavy duty toilet paper holder with an incorporated assist bar. The easy design to change a roll of paper is really nice. Just raise one side, no more two hands needed to change the old style push bar. I will need to reinforce the wall from behind the drywall to properly install this in my bathroom to make sure when using the assist bar is secure. Easy enough by installing a 2x4 from stud to stud. I highly recommend this product and it looks great. Delta has done a great job in matching fixtures this one is Chrome.
