Q:The hot water handle is very hard to turn and it turns the whole assembly is turning. This model doesn't have a set screw and I'm not able to remove the handle assembly.

Q:I installed one of these about 2 years ago. The right handle is now loose. It wiggles and when I turn the water off, it goes back further making the two handles uneven. Can this be fixed or do I need a new handle assembly? Delta Everly 25741LF

Difference 5 years makes
Bought one 5 years ago, the solid brass on the left, well believed to be solid brass. The other day a water started pouring out the bottom of it, took the faucet out and removed the 2 screws on the bottom to find a braided hose blew up. Called Delta they told it wasn't under their 10 year warranty. Couldn't give me an answer. Bought one from the store same model number, same upc just made even cheaper. Weighs almost a pound less because of the brass they have removed.

Easiest install. Great looking. Sturdy base.
As a former handyman, I have installed countless faucets/drains. This was, by far, the easiest install. FYI, removal of my old faucet/drain was 75% of the job. Remember to use the blue key to remove the aerator BEFORE turning the water back on. The instructions mention it, but no diagram. SAVE THE BLUE AERATOR KEY for future maintenance. I taped mine to the back of the underside of the basin (with blue painter's tape).

Cheap aerator ruins it all
This faucet is nice in features and appearance: brushed nickel, spot shield, and worry free drain catch. But the cheap aerator ruins them all. After all the effort of installation, turn on the faucet, the aerator is flushed out. I thought that the aerator is not fully screwed, then tighten it, turn on the faucet, the aerator is flushed out again. I thought the aerator is not good, get a known good one, install it, turn on the faucet, the aerator is flushed out again. Inspect the aerator, the plastic thread of aerator was damaged by the metal thread from faucet under water pressure (see picture). Even though Everly has the nice brushed nickel faucet, it come with plastic aerator with weak thread. It is just not able to stand the water pressure come from the faucet. Moreover, comparing with another Delta model Porter, Everly has narrow channel with high pressure water, makes the weak aerator even worse. Since the aerator is not robust enough, the only solution is to replace this aerator with a aerator with metal case and thread. But the after market aerator will compromise its nice appearance. I decide to return this faucet, and bought the cheaper model Porter with the aerator with metal case. I wish that Delta can improve this aerator design.

Bought a pair of the faucets in September 2017 and had them installed recently February/May 2018 after the renovations. It vibes up the entire house
Looks great and works perfectly. Easy to clean and opens and closes like oil.
Adds value to the entire house, not just the bathroom and last but by no mean least... all the guest and friends love it.
