Cheap mounting hardware, drywall anchors break. I installed this same collection in our whole house (towel bars, towel hooks, toilet paper holders, etc.) and out of the 42 needed drywall anchors 20 of them broke. Had to buy additional anchors. I would include them in your purchase. Installed product looks great though, just need to include better anchors

The drywall anchors included did not work. I have a photo showing how they break trying to screw them into drywall and the head breaks off. I went back to Home Depot, paid another $2.00 for better anchors.

Smooth simple style, good value

This collection has very simple clean lines. The end posts are heavy solid metal with very nicely chromed finishes. When hung, all the support is hidden inside the end caps except for a small hex screw on the underside. It comes with a template to mark 4 screw holes for the brackets that are hidden inside the end posts. You just screw on the hidden wall brackets with the included wall anchors and screws, then hang the end posts on the wall brackets (with bar inserted during the 2nd cap installation). Finally, tighten the hex screws underneath. The bar is made of the same material that the ring of the towel ring in this collection is made of- polished metal (aluminum, I believe) and not chrome plated. Mine is well polished, not scratched, and looks ok with the end posts, not too different. I am not sure how it will hold up with use. Towels have texture and are pulled over the bar continually. I wonder if it will eventually develop more of a brushed looking surface, but I suppose chrome would have the same issue and at least the bar is the same metal through and through, so I think I understand why it’s made this way.

Why Change What Works?

Why change what works? I don't understand why the change from a screw driver driven screw to an Allan Wrench. This does not work when trying to turn against a solid wall. Could not install this and threw it away. Terrible!
