A: To me just because of the price I doubt it. I would think if anyone makes a faucet that is solid brass anymore it would be very expensive.

Possible causes of an odor include stagnant water in sink overflow, foreign matter lodged in the aerator or other areas of the faucet, or if bacteria are present in water, the design of a widespread faucet can facilitate its growth because of the hoses connecting the valve bodies and spout. To double-check that the smell is coming from the faucet, not the drain or overflow, half fill a cup from the suspect faucet and take it out of the room. A: A lot of those parts you mentioned are manufacturers specific, meaning if it's say, a Delta brand faucet, there's not necessarily a universal or generic part that will fit it. You might have to disassemble it and bring the parts you're trying to replace to a plumbing supply store so they can match it up. HD does carry replacement parts, if the faucet is one HD sells they might have what you need,

Delta Widespread bathroom faucet Model B3511LF-PPU-ECO has good instructions to follow. I followed them as written with no issues and most importantly, I had no leaks when finished and the wife will enjoy the new faucet.

I've had this widespread for only a few days, but here is my review. The product is very elegant looking. Taps turn on and off flawlessly with a perfect stream of water directed where it should be in the sink. The installation was incredibly easy with the screw-tighten washer system and snap-fit water line connectors. The only problem with the product was the drain lever assembly. It does not work well with older sink styles where the drain hole is not directly below the drain lever. I had to use a clamp that came with the old faucet to make the drain lever operate properly. Otherwise, I would have rated it 5 stars.

Easy to install faucet if you have the right tools, for some reason Delta decided to use hex scre...

Easy to install faucet if you have the right tools, for some reason Delta decided to use hex screws on the bottom of the valve assembly. OK if you have a long 3/32" hex key wrench. Most other manufacturers use a phillips screw which is easier. I do like the foam compressible seal on the faucet valves, they compress and hold the faucet in place very well. Also the spout has a huge nut on it which is very difficult to tighten compared to other faucets that use a smaller nut. I had to cut the back off of one sink just to get the big nut to turn. Advertisement says it has a metal drain. But it doesn't. It has a plastic drain assembly. I've had problems with the plastic drain assemblies, where once you tighten them it snaps off the top.

Great Faucet

I have zero plumbing skills but was able to install this on my own. It worked perfect for us with the space we had available. My only issue was installing the rod for the drain stop. I don't think the instructions were clear enough on what to do. I kinda got it installed, but it doesn't work correctly. I got fed up with it & just said I was finished. If you have better skills than I this will work fine for you.
