Asked by: mlm
It's not metal, because if it were it would be too heavy to handle. It's light and easy to use. No worries, it looks great.

Lifetime warranty BUT not transferable if you buy a house with delta faucets already installed. Even if the house is 3 years old.

Customer Reviews

Linden Single-Handle Pull-Out Sprayer Kitchen Faucet with Soap/Lotion Dispenser in Stainless Steel is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 132.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from So Far, So Good I purchased this faucet to replace a 9 yr old Moen that started having a continuous drip in the sink about 6 months ago. I was originally surprised at the price of these type of faucets, but do believe you get what you pay for. Took longer to remove the old faucet (30-45 mins, a part was stuck) than to install the new one (about 20 mins). Pretty easy as long as you have the right tools, can follow directions and don't have an obscenely tight space in which to work. Once everything was connected, it was all good. The spray wand hangs slightly lower over the sink than the old one, but I have had no problems with water pressure (it's actually stronger than the old faucet) or leaks. I do have to push a little harder than I like to get the spray wand back in the faucet, but I think it will loosen up and become more comfortable over time. I recommend this product, but will post back later if any problems develop. I didn't install/use the soap dispenser as there was only 1 hole in my counter.

However, when the plumber opened the box to install the new faucet noticed the bottom outside ring which should have matched the stainless steel of the rest of the faucet but instead was CHROME. Ended up using the stainless steel finish ring from the old faucet. Clearly there was no quality control! This is unacceptable!

Disappointed that the base and pullout head are plastic instead of metal. Looks nice now. We'll see how it holds up over time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Delta Linden Kitchen Faucet Purchased this product 2 years ago and found that it was medium on the difficulty scale for installation. Once installed, it worked satisfactorily for 2 years until we found water under the sink that was leaking from inside the body of the faucet. It only did so when the faucet was turned on and water was flowing. I disassembled the unit but the source of the leak was not obvious. Since this was 8PM on a weekday night in a busy household we went out and purchased another faucet, not Delta, as it seemed that the same internal construction was probably used in most of their similar products. The product can probably be easily repaired by someone that knows what to look for or has the time to do so but who has that time the fact that it's a busy kitchen on a weekday night. What is required here is reliability, not warranty nor ease of repair. Very disappointed in this relatively high end product especially now that our kitchen faucet has cost us a total of $400 in 2 years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from soap dispenser reduced my overall rating We love the faucet, but the soap dispenser does not work longer than 6 or 8 weeks. Our water pressure is fine, love the pullout sprayer, but we can't seem to get a good soap dispenser. Since October 2011 we are on our 2nd one and it has stopped working. When you pump it down, you get a big spash and then the pump stays down. Finally, it comes back up, but by then I've already reached under the sink and squirted soap from the refill bottle. This is a nuisance. Delta replaced the other dispenser with an apology, but that has not solved the problem. When you first get the dispenser, it works great, but it doesn't last. We have cleaned the stem with warm water and this helps a little, but the problem is still there. Our previous dispenser lasted 14 years and was still working when we replaced it with this one. Other than this, the faucet works great for us.

Faucet has been installed for barely a year when I came home to a flooded kitchen as it was leaking both onto my counter (and subsequently the hardwood floor behind my kitchen island, which is now possibly permanently warped). Upon inspection, it looks like the faucet has been leaking slowly for quite some time, but not enough to notice, before the dam burst and created the larger mess/puddle. The cabinet under my sink has some long-term water bubbling/damage, and the hose for the retractable spout was mildewed considerably farther down. The leak seemed to be related to the switch from the stream to shower spray, which had been finicky all along. Would have expected much more, or at least a much longer life, for a faucet. It also sprayed water everywhere and made a mess most of the time anyway, so maybe it's a blessing in disguise. I have contacted Delta about the warranty coverage, but honestly I wouldn't want this same faucet again.
