I had to shorten the cross bar to fit into an area less than 18". The material was of good quality and easy to work with. I would buy another one if needled in the future.

The Delta Portwood 24 inch towel bar in venitian bronze is a good/ solid towel bar. It has a nice finish and comes with quality install hardware. The Sheetrock anchors are a sturdy self tapping and drilling heavy duty plastic, not the small cheap plastic inserts. Installation is a breeze with the instructional “map” of screw location that is provided. I installed mine in a unconventional way, attached to a stainless steel island. I did use my own self tapping metal screws and also cut the bar down a inch so it would fit my space but it is solid and does a good job of holding the kitchen towels.

I have chosen the Delta Portwood 24 inch towelbar in Venetian bronze for my basement bathroom remodel. It is a very sturdy addition to my bathroom I think it will hold up for many years. I like that it has coordinating pieces. The color and style update the bathrooms just as I thought it would. I like that it comes with written instructions as well as pictures and a template for correct hole placement the very first time. Plus that it comes with all the hardware and drywall anchors, Makes the installation of this towel bar very simple.

I have a second home that I’ve owned since it was new in 1982. It has good bones but, other than a couple of replacement appliances, new flooring, new HVAC system and a replacement water heater, has not had any significant upgrades in all of this time. In fact, it sat empty for more than seven years. I’m going to be selling it soon and it is quite “dated” in the vernacular of home sales. So, it will be getting paint and some other cosmetic upgrades. But my goal is to not spend any more on clean up, paint and improvements than might be fully returned at the time of sale. They aren't paying for it. I’m focusing much of my effort on the bathrooms and the kitchen, because around here, that is what buyers want. The guest bath has hardly been used and only needs new flooring, a new toilet and fresh paint to make it more saleable. The existing hardware is all “builders basic” in rectangular chrome. I found the Delta Portwood line of bathroom hardware to have that $Million look at a reasonable price. For less than $200, I could match anything in a new, nearby model tract home. It’s super easy to install. I completed the task with only a few hand tools. It took less than an hour to install two towel racks. This 24” model exactly over the old towel rack mounting points. And, they were in studs rather than drywall alone. There is a fair amount of adjustability in the mounts that allows for fine level adjustment if one doesn’t get it exactly right the first time. The Delta Portwood line of bathroom hardware makes my old, dated, builder’s basic bathroom look as nice as anything in a current model home and I’m sure it will help with the sale. It seems to be strong, functional and durable. The investment of money and time was minimal. The only nit in the whole process was that the set screw on of the mounting brackets had the hex head stripped out. I was able to finesse around this by using a flat head, jeweler’s screwdriver which I could get a tight fit inside the screw head and torque it down.

I'm so glad I chose the Delta Portwood 24 in. Towel Bar in Venetian Bronze. I wanted a classy and modern-looking upgrade to my guest bathroom. One of the things that attracted me to this particular product was they have an entire matching collection...including a faucet. This towel bar was easy to install thanks to all the hardware being provided. There’s even a template so you can’t mess up. It took about 25 minutes to install. The SpotShield coating is a nice feature because it resists water spots. I am glad I chose this collection.

The Delta Portwood Towel Rack is attractive and complements the towel ring and toilet paper holder I installed in our upstairs guest bathroom. The towrl rack was easy to install, and looks great my only regret is I didn’t get a larger towel rack, but replacing this rack would entail patching the wall where the mounts are. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the towel rack
