        A:  There were probably 1.25 inches long. They did not go through the thick part of the door.

        Q:Can this be installed on a door with hollow door anchors? If not, do you have a Delta robe hook that can be installed on a hollow core door?

          A:  With proper anchors - yes. Home Depot carries the 1-1/4 in. Hollow Door and Drywall Anchors (4-Pack) by E-Z Anchor.

            The towel hook is made pretty sturdy...The only bad thing about this item was the backplate that is screwed into the base. we had a couple of the plates crack/bend or break. Again The hook is sturdy the attachment that screws into the wall is sturdy just the plate that screws into the base that attaches to the wall mount is not the greatest Note: We did contact Liberty (Delta's sister company that makes this model) and informed them of our plight. They were very responsive and replaced the backplates and wall mounts for us Yes I would buy this again.

            Easy to install and nice looking
            you never know what might work for you where you are trying to mount something like this. Just about all you can do is visualize or maybe you have something that will separate it from the rest of the appliances or mounts in the area you wish to set this up. I have a satin nickel faucet and a satin nickel towel holder so this was a no brainer. It has two hooks and of that I like. One for your jeans and one for shirts or whatever.

            I love this double hook. It hangs right next to the shower so I can conveniently grab my robe and towel. The hooks are deep enough that they hold a towel well without fear of it falling off. It matched all the other bathroom accessories we used, which were Moen Banbury. Great price, easy to install, and serves its purpose nicely. I'm sure it will hang there for decades.
