Does the plastic piece inside the spout come out? I get a very awkward inconsistent water flow from the tub spout.
Asked by RJade July 4, 2019Hello RJade, Thank you for your question. The tub spout of the Delta Victorian Tub and Shower T17455 does not have and plastic removable parts. The brass adapter is the only part designed to be removed for installation. We would advised flushing the valve body or back flushing through the tub spout, for any low flow issues. Can I just use the shower portion and not the bath portion of the combo?
Asked by Newby May 26, 2017Dear Newby, Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, the Delta Victorian Tub and Shower T17455-RB faucet can be installed without using/installing the tub spout. You would just need to remember to cap off the bottom port of the main rough-in valve assembly, behind the wall. Best regards, Tanya

With victorian tub and shower faucet trim kit T17455-RB, instead of valve body R10000-UNBX can I use valve body R10000-UNWS or R10000-UNWSHF?

Presently have a 1700 series installed - will this trim kit fit with out replacing valve in the wall?
Asked by Oldguys4ever September 9, 2014Hi Oldguys4ever, Thank you for your question. The model T17455-SS tub and shower trim will work on your existing 1700 series rough in valve. The new cartridge that ships with the trim will not fit the existing rough. You will have to continue to use the existing cartridge or replace it with a new RP32104.
