AnswerThank you for your question, searching! Unfortunately, we do not offer a Windemere Roman Tub trim with a hand shower. Delta gave us two of the same stem assemblies and...
Delta gave us two of the same stem assemblies and they argue that they are universal, which they are not according to our plumber and my husband, who both tried to get this oriented properly. How can they be universal when they turn in different directions?!

Thank you for your review, Alexandra! I do apologize for any confusion regarding how the stem units on model BT2796-OB are supposed to be installed, but will be happy to clarify. The stem units used on this faucet are the same for the hot and cold side. They do need to be oriented differently on the hot and cold side, for the handles to turn in the right direction. I have sent you an email, so we can instruct you on how to properly orient the stem units.

This Delta Roman Tub faucet "TRIM KIT" is an excellent DIY choice. Our original faucet was installed 22 years ago. This is the second trim kit I have installed. Both kits were easy to change and worked beautifully. The original valves have never leaked a drop. A couple of tips I can share;
1. Be sure to use the silicone grease on the "O" ring and the threads. (see photo)
2. My trim kit did not come with hex head set screws or brass screws; I had to reuse the old ones.
3. Our old kit had larger base plates so I power scrubbed the base area with soft scrub (see photo)
All in all it was an easy install. I hope the photos help.

Delta Faucet "Windemere" Trim Kit - Faucets Did Not Fit
After consulting with the HD in-store plumbing resource and then contacting Delta Faucet Co. I ordered this trim kit to replace a 22 year old Delta Faucet polished brass trim kit.
The Roman Bath spout fit OK on the current tub hardware, but the faucet handles were too thin (narrow) / too short (by approximately 1/4") to fit on the valves.
After much back and forth with the Delta customer service reps (who were consistently very patient & helpful by providing other options and hardware), I finally jury-rigged an appropriate-looking solution by buying two similarly-sized standard flanges (at Lowe's!!) with smaller holes and then widening the openings so that these could be installed below the bases that came with the handles.
The pics show the final results with all of the hardware in place and working.

I'm sorry to hear that the handles did not work with the existing rough-in valve. We appreciate your feedback. Note that older valve may require you to adjust the upper and lower threaded adapter and nut to lower the end valves.

Roman tub faucet
Nice quality Roman Tub Faucet. Delta is always a good choice. The Windemere collection is more reasonably priced but still has nice style & quality. I like the arched spout. Wish I had ordered the spray to rinse out the whirlpool but made a foolish choice and didn't spend the extra money like I should have.

I had to replace my leaky tub faucet and decided on this style. I also purchased the Rough In that must be bought separately.. My tub looks improved so much that I had to change all of my faucet fixtures, this tub, 3 bath sinks and a kitchen faucet all in the Windemere Stainless Steel style. I did all of this 6 months ago and I haven't had any problems what so ever. It really improved the look in all of the rooms I put them in. It's an excellent choice for quality and appearance, and for peace of mind the outstanding warranty.

Beautiful design, fast shipping
I had to quickly find a tub faucet so my plumber could complete an installation. This one is beautiful, blends nicely with the rest of the room, and is a fine addition to my house. Home Depot had the item in stock online and was able to ship it immediately, something other stores could not do.
