Great light!
I love this light. It's a throw back, but new trend with the brass. The 2 light system offers plenty of light. The ribbed detail of the glass is beautiful! The price can't be beat! Never thought I would use brass again, but here we go.

This was my first installation! I'm a 57 year old woman who enjoys a challenge. The instructions were not detailed enough, so I had a few learning curves, but after it was finished, I am confident I know the step by step for the next light! I will be getting a replacement in this style for my bathroom vanity! The unit arrived intact and nothing was broken. The original light box had styrofoam pieces and that box was inside another bubble wrap cushioned box. It's a nice clean look for my change of room decor.

I installed this along with the light previously installed on the ceiling in the hallway and placed it in the middle of the hallway. I used a double switch so I wouldn't have to make a new hole in the wall for a switch plate box, and added a motion sensor as an added touch which I could turn it on or off as needed. I thought it would look better if I hooked the light separately with it's own switch and I'm glad I did. Although I had to put new wiring in the wall (which took many hours) it was worth the effort. It looks beautiful in the hallway and was fairly easy to install in the wall as a new install. Not sure what the complaints are about having problems installing it. I had no problem and installation went smoothly. The only thing I didn't like was the gold trim that is on the edge of the light which was included separately and looks great hanging down, but if I had to hang it pointing up I would have to use an adhesive on the glass to make it stay up. Not a real problem but I feel an adhesive (a sticky tape or a small tube of adhesive) would have made it easier to install upwards. But for the money it was a great buy. As a result I settled for hanging it down. I'm glad I did. For a $15 wall sconce it looks incredible. Would highly recommend to all. Of course if you are not experienced with new wall installation I would recommend a qualified electrician to install it. I've included some pictures of the sconce, double light switch and motion sensor.

Remember that bulbs are not included with the fixture, which was fine for us as we are in the process of switching everything over to LED bulbs.

We live in a modular home. Most of the public areas have good lighting, except for the foyer. We wanted to add a fixture, but were unsure of what we wanted it to look like. It's the first area entered when guests come, so we wanted it to be better than an $8 ceiling fixture. We were a bit surprised when we found this fixture available online from Home Depot, because it's identical to the one over our kitchen dining table. Although it may not have been our first choice if starting from scratch, we decided to go with this matching fixture. We were pleased that the price was quite reasonable and shipment was quick. The fixture was easy to install. The only deviation from the kitchen fixture is that we only used six links in the chain so that the fixture gives more headroom. It's in an area where folks will walk under it. Removing links was the most difficult part of the installation; they're pretty tough and need to be bent temporarily to remove. Getting them to twist open and then back into alignment was a bit difficult, but once it's installed, the minor alignment errors aren't noticeable. It surely has brightened up the foyer. As with the kitchen light, we control it with a digital dimmer and don't use full brightness all the time.

I paid a handyman to install two of the Millbridge sconces (purchased online and easily picked up at Home Depot) about a month ago. They replaced two others (one had been bent and ignored for years). I had the new fixtures installed pointing up so more light would be reflected off the ceiling making the room brighter. The sconces are handsome and well made. There is a special ring used to affix the glass shade in place -- a nice safety point.
The lights they replaced had individual on/off switches. The new pair do not. I had not thought about the on/off switches when I ordered them. The new lights turn on simultaneously with the overhead light when it is turned on. I am fine with no individual on/off switches, but mention it in case someone does have an issue with it.
I like my new wall sconces so much, I'm going to buy the matching ceiling light fixture.

Gorgeous light! Since I wanted a bright light for my craft room, I was looking specifically for a fixture where the bulbs would shine down on the working area. With five 60-watt bulbs shining, this beautiful chandelier provides 300 watts! :-) I am attaching two pictures--one with the bulbs on and one with them off. You can see we only used about 6" of the chain. The bronze color is nice, and the globes are very pretty with a little swirl in them.
My husband and I aren't very experienced with electricity, however we were able to take down an old ceiling fan and put up this chandelier without a lot of trouble. The directions use different numbers for some of the parts which was confusing until we figured that out (remember we're novice electricians). I am attaching a picture which shows the errors.
The directions could have made me rate the chandelier lower, however the product is beautiful and I'm very pleased.
