we do not recommend using on a car
This is a pretty solid stop but I believe it’s intended for indoor use. I don’t know for sure, but I would be surprised if it did not eventually rust.
Yes, it comes with a floor anchor and screw. It also has a spike built into it that will fit into a 2nd drill hole to keep it from rotating.
Yes, the product can be used with hardwood flooring.
Yes, you can install this outside.
Hi and thanks for your question. The 'base plate' of this Dome Door Stop is 1/8-inch high.
I screwed mine into a plywood sub floor but I can see no reason that you couldn't screw it into concrete if you use a concrete drill bit and an anchor.
Hello GodzillasRus, The best way is to still screw the door stop into the floor. You will need to use a tile bit to make sure the tile is not cracked accidentally while drilling. I hope this helps. Hi Tony, and thanks for your question. No, there is no other way to install this door stop and it work properly other than drilling and screwing down to floor. On the bottom of the stop is a projection that fits in the drilled hole to keep it from moving when a door strikes against it.
