Do Not Buy This Spout....
This faucet/spout with shower diverter (at least the fully sealed new one that I just bought) comes with parts missing that you'll need, parts included that have no application in any type of installation, hole for set screw to secure the fitting is not drilled ( there's a slight mark where they perhaps planned to drill this necessary hole....package claims universal fit for slip on or threaded pipe, easy installation....well my very standard 4" non-threaded pipe will need to be cut off to 3" for the housing to meet the wall tile. $21.08 + tax. Such a drag. You CAN make it fly by drilling and hacksawing and Micky Mousing the pieces that they do give you....but throw out the directions and get creative. Let's get back to making all these things here at home and doing it right.
