Product Details

The Prova railing system from Dolle is a component based, easy to install, interior and exterior railing system. The Prova railing system offers several different configurations that offer a sleek, contemporary, and custom look at DIY pricing. Prova railings are adept at creating dramatic sight lines outside and making small spaces seem larger inside. The Prova PA6 adjustable handrail elbow is constructed of heavy-duty steel with a gray painted finish. This versatile connector allows you to go down stairs or around corners while joining your handrails together to form a continuous run. The PA6 adjustable elbow can pivot to hit any angle between 90° and 180° and is the perfect accessory to link multiple runs of railing together. Easy assembly with basic hand tools, no special skills required. Hardware is included with this handrail elbow for mounting to both wood and aluminum handrails.

A:  No. It is designed for mechanical fastening within the Prova system

A:  This is a powder coated cast aluminum handrail elbow - attempting to weld it to another metal will ruin the elbow - it is designed to attach and work with the Prova wood or aluminum handrails

      A:  Usually you can use (2) elbows and small chunk of handrail to create an offset or jog in handrail. you will have to see if that will work in your situation

          I have recently completed a handrail using this system and...
          I have recently completed a handrail using this system and overall it is great - nice lines, sturdy, modern but timeless look. The only issue is that the handrail brackets (which come in packs of two) have 3 holes per bracket but only 2 screws are supplied...not impressed with that

          The elbow simply does the job it was intended to do. I'm a big fan of the Dolle Prova railing system. It is well suited for do-it-yourselfers like me. I used it exclusively in my house around floor openings, for stair railings, plus a few unusual purposes beyond the product's design intent.
