It is not a room heater, but more of a heated tent to treat individual items. It will not heat a whole room or apartment. You assemble the metal frame and then put the insulated tent around it. Then you put items on wire shelves within the unit, zip up the tent, and turn on the heating element. The inside of the tent heats up, and there is a thermometer that will alert you when it reaches the necessary 120 degree F temp. You need to leave all of your items at 120 degrees for 2 hours to ensure all bedbugs and eggs have been killed. The tent measures about 4ft wide x 3ft deep x 4ft tall.
Depends on the size of the chair. The chamber dimensions are 38x38x26 inch.
You can use the heater without the tent, if you are using it to heat a room instead of killing bedbugs
No, this item is not intended to be used for drying herbs.

I'm not sure about the headboard due to the dimensions. The drawers should for two at a time.
Yes but I would probably treat it several times to make sure the critters killed.
No, not a good idea.
I have had good results with mine, whenever I get back from a trip I put my clothes an suitcase in ans cook it for 2 hours, no bedbugs
