A:Â Yes. I use it on my senior Mom's thick toenails.
I also use it once a week to trim the dogs' nails.

Ease of Use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this a few days ago. I am amazed at the size. Very easy to hold. Has 5 speeds. It's very quiet. I use it for crafts. It is perfect. It's not meant for big projects though.

It's a fantastic tool, with proper expectations.
Fantastic for precise work on 3D printed parts and scale models. It's worked well cutting/grinding/polishing plastic, copper, brass and aluminum. Any sort of steel and it's gonna be slow going. Very easy to be precise, I prefer this over my Foredom.

Love this tool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the stylo with my crafts. It’s so comfortable to use, especially for women n because it’s got a smaller diameter. Couldn’t be happier with the possibilities like the embellishment on this plate I turned.

Lightweight but strong!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I make jewelry and bought this to help sand and drill holes in my pieces. I love that it's quiet but still powerful enough to do the job. Also I love how it has a slender shape which makes it super easy to hold for long periods of time. Thanks Dremel!!

The tool you need for just about anything!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this tool one day as a much needed gift from my husband. He seen how difficult some things were for me to create . My work area was NOT portable! So needless to say , I needed it to be.We seen this great tool , The Dremel Stylo 2050. This whole stylo tool itself is approx. 7-8" L/ 1-1 1/2"W. This product is very lightwieght, cormfortable to use, easy to clean and best part....Its handheld and portable! You can use this anywhere you might need or dream of. Currently I use "sty"(thats what I call it ) for etching glass. This makes my everyday just easier . Everyone needs this handheld product.Hats off to Dremel Company! Just remember, keep hands away from tip while in use. Have and use proper P.P.E.(PROPER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT) ! GO create and have fun.

Best dog nail grinder ever
I bought this to grind down my dog's nails. This machine is so quiet it makes an electric toothbrush seem loud, even on the highest speed, it is nearly silent on the lowest speed. I learned that this tool has a wonderful safety feature if anything gets caught in it (My hair for example LOL) it doesn't pull at all, it instantly stops with a small beep. Excellent in case if your dog has long toe hair, it won't hurt your dog at all. My dogs have never seen a dremel type tool before, and are typically nervous nellies when it comes to noises. This is so quiet, I was able to begin dremeling their nails in under a minute with no issues. My older dog who turns into an alligator for nail clipping didn't even blink an eye at this, she never pulled away at all. This device gets five stars, for dexterity, ease to handle, not heavy or awkward to hold even with small hands, and lovely for getting all those weird angles on dog's nails. The cord is light and allows the device to be thinner and lighter which I really like.
