37/64 in. High Speed Steel Black Oxide Reduced Shank Specialty Drill Bit with 3/8 in. Shank

What an Excellent drill bit design. Used in both 1/8” steel and 1/2” plywood. Results were better than expected. The holes were clean with typical blow out on plywood. The steel holes were left clean with minimal reaming required. These bit designs get a 5 star! A pilot hole was not used in our testing but, We’d highly recommend doing so for general use. Highly recommended bit. Two thumbs up!

Great strong hard cutting drill. Among the most common size drill used repairs on old farm equipment. Cut curls of steel with slight pressure on drill. Much pressure caused the cordless drill to stop as the bit cut in deep. Other then steel the bit went through wood easily and grabbed into vinyl and other plastics regardless of drill speed. Liked the flat surfaces of the reduced shank. The few times a half inch electric drill was used this bit drilled quick with ease. After quite a few projects over three weeks bit was still sharp. Recommend drill. Always drilled a pilot hole then a mid sized before using this for the final hole. This bit stayed centered without any walking off even when starting. One outer corner was rounded off slightly when examined with magnifying glass. Not sure if it was like that before use. Still drilled well and true.
