I am using the wedge to elevate my foot after Achilles surgery to minimize swelling & pain. I put the unfolded wedge on my large ottoman and put the leg on top of the wedge and it elevates it at the proper height.

Not too high not too low sleep much better
I found I was not sleeping as well, being almost flat, so I ordered this wedge pillow to sleep. Back sleeper-Comfortable easier to-breathe. I use a very small neck roll with it.

The wedge was too firm to sleep on comfortably and I gave up on it. I did like the way it folds up and comes apart. I now use it solely as a back support when sitting up in bed but that's not what I bought it for.

Great So Far
Wished I'd had it following cardiac surgery. Use it now to elevate head to watch video or
read book nightly. Expect to lend to friends as needed. Comes in zippered bag for storage.

I used this after surgery to sleep elevated. It’s nice and firm so you don’t sink down. I put several pillows on top to achieve the correct height. I like the removable cover too. Home Depot had a really good price compared to other retailers.

A bit firm and takes a little getting used to, but appears well made and does the job. Using it to elevate upper body at night to reduce congestion from COPD. Seems to be working as planned. Much better than putting blocks under the bed to elevate the head.
