The scooter is cool, but doesn’t live up to the hype. I bought it because it was rated for 300 pounds, 4 inches ground clearance and it’s considered an “outdoor” model.
To light on the front do front/drive wheel spins a lot in dirt..
Sadly, LOW gear doesn’t work but more importantly, it won’t drive me across my lawn! It ran out of speed and juice after about 100 ft of smooth fresh cut grass. I wanted something to get around my yard so I could work in my garden.. On the paved street the battery gauge drops to low within a half block but does return to full when stopped. It won’t work for me.
That said, my best friend who weighs 165 rode it around the yard and street without problems (altho LOW doesn’t work). So IF YOU WEIGH MORE THAN 175 I would not purchase this model.
Be warned.

Not very sturdy
Purchased this because I have a lumbar injury but it won’t go up little hills. This is more like a recreational scooter so if that’s what you’re looking for then this should do great!

Steering broke
I purchased this scooter for myself since i went into respiratory failure and can not walk too far with oxygen...I have had this scooter a few weeks and the steering part that folds down broke causing me to lose control and fall nearly cracking my head open.

Great ride
I bought this scooter after I fell and broke my shoulder and now use it regularly when I have to walk a lot....I have had many people from all over that stopped me to look it over...I just went to Disney World 3 times this last month and I could have sold it over and over lol...I have 2 of them. Comes in handy for a friend to use when they travel with us.

purchase with care
This is the second mobility scooter that I've purchased from Drive Medical! This one lasted just over a year, like the previous scooter! If you need a reliable scooter I would recommend finding a different alternative to Drive Medical! Both of the scooters I purchased from Drive Medical ended up with electrical problems shortly after purchasing. By the end of the year neither scooter worked. Cables are cheap and crimp easily, 2 cables got broken just folding the handles down. FIND SOMETHING ELSE!

Very happy with the product
This scooter appears to be substantial and well made. It gives a smooth ride and the throttle is responsive, it also goes a decent speed. I didn't find the manual very helpful, it doesn't tell you basic things, like how to switch the headlight on (a turn of the key) . My one critism I think a person familiar with the product should assemble the scooter and test it out for you to make sure everything works as it should. An hour's training would go a long way towards customer satisfaction.
