A:  Yes, with the included ground anchors the arbor is sturdy enough to stand up to high winds.

A:  HI, The arbor is 49 1/2 inches wide between the uprights and 53 1/2 inches wide from the outside of the uprights (uprights are 2" square); you should have about 3" on each side of the arbor on your 5 foot (60 inch) wide walkway, should look like it belongs. You will need to secure it to the walkway somehow, the arbor is really light in weight and will easily play the roll of the "Flying Nun" in a slight breeze. The height is 79 inches on the closest to the sidewalk and 84 inches at its tallest point. Anyone over 6 feet 7 inches will need to duck. Ease of assemble... if you have experience putting together furniture and reading instructions, sure, this is a doable task. Parts are light and you could use a dining room table to assemble. Make sure to place towels, etc. to protect that table, glue is used during the assembly and the parts can scratch a surface easily. After the arbor is assembled, use two people to move outside. If you do assemble it without a table or raised surface, you will need to bend down a lot to achieve the task. I have a back that was ruined due to a life of heavy lifting and spread the assemble over several days to protect my back and ability to be self sufficient. Hope that helps and good luck!

A:  Sorry. It might be higher than 72", but not that wide. Too much snow for me to measure now!

A:  72 inches is the overall roof top width. 50 inches is the inside walk-through. This will not fit over a 5 ft sidewalk

A:  This was challenging to put together. Took two people to assemble. Maybe one person could do alone, but more troublesome. Also best to secure bottom legs with cement. It is 72" high. Not sure how wide, but less than 5'.

A:  Unfortunately, Dura-Trel does not make a wider version of the Wellington Arbor.

A:  Not that I am aware of. I feel that the material would not be rigid enough to go much wider without sagging or failing all together. It is an uncomplicated design and could be built with a few tools and mininal lumber.
