AnswerGrass will continue to grow if you do not clear it out and lay landscaping fabric down. and you will need about 1 yard of soil.

AnswerThe 6 posts go about 10” down. So really just need to dig 6 small-ish holes. I would recommend digging a shallow trench (2”) for the sides to sit in so there is no gap between the lawn and the bed.

My daughter bought this same garden bed last fall and I helped her assemble it and set it in place. I was quite impressed with everything about it - quality of materials, ease of assembly and the fact it was vinyl and would require no ongoing maintenance, so I purchased one for myself this year and I am very pleased with it. The split level design is attractive and functional, and I felt the cost was a very fair value for the quality of the product.
