What colors are in pewter and is it textured?
Hello Theresa and thanks for your inquiry. The DuraDecor Polished Pro Perfect Pewter is a gray plank with taupe undertones and silver accents and does have a slightly textured surface. It also comes in 3 different specifications - 2.0 mm glue down, 2.5 mm glue down, or 5.0 mm 'click and lock' floating floor (SPC) with foam underlayment. Is it slip resistant
Hello Grim - Thanks for the inquiry. The DuraDecor polished pro does not offer a slip resistant floor. Outside factors can contribute to humans, animals, and objects to slip across the surface of the floor. While the floor has a slight texture, it does not prevent accidental falls or slips. Water (or any liquids) on the surface could also lead to accidents or falls. Hope this helps. Thank You -
Does Polished mean high luster?
Hello Samue and thanks for your question. The DuraDecor Polished Pro is only the name of the product, and doesn't have a "high luster" finish. However, this product does have a 20mil wear layer, Lifetime Residential / 5-year Commercial Warranty, is FloorScore and Greenguard Gold Certified, and is 100% waterproof. Hello Vickie - thanks for the inquiry. We would recommend using the manufacturers guidelines on the actual vinyl glue down / dryback adhesive. Our adhesive recommends the following: Approximately 175 to 250 sq. ft. per gallon coverage when applied with a 1/32 in. x 1/16" in. x 1/32 in. U- Notch trowel and 125 to 175 sq. ft. per gallon coverage when applied with a 1/16 in. x 1/16 in. x 1/16 in. square notch trowel. Hope this helps answer your questions. Thank You
I thought vinyl is water proof but this says it is water resistant. Which is it?
Hello Felong and thanks for your question. This particular DuraDecor Luxury Vinyl Plank is a glue down version which is water resistant. However, this particular color also comes in a rigid core click-lock version as well that is 100% waterproof. That is model # DD-PP-52HDC8516 and can be found at www.homedepot.com.
