Works great after rebuilding it.
This is worthless if you use it with no modifications. There is a gap between the firebox and smoker and around the doors that I sealed with Meecos Red Devil and Oklahoma Joes gasket seal. Those sealed well but on my first use the temp would never get below about 300F even with all vents closed. I then found that the vent on the firebox had a gap around each of the openings so it was drawing way too much air. I beat the lip down on each opening so it would seal better and now it works great.

great cover, but for what product? this cover was made for something else. Don't buy this for the premium offset smoker and grill!

Really like this smoker.. Works great and easy to use. Moved from Barrel type to this and it is so much easier to control and use. First smoke was chicken leg quarters, legs, thighs, and a pork tenderloin. Everything turned out tasty and allowed me to get used to cooking times on the smoker. Next will be a Boston Butt for the 4th of July. Added a wagon underneath to allow me to move the smoker around easily and the extra height allows easy access to the smoker. Glad I bought this one.

Food came out great. Added a seal around the food door, but not sure it was really needed. Many options to cook with the 6 racks.
Easy to assemble. Not too heavy to move with the provided handles.
Dimensions on the website are misleading as length and width are measured from the base of the angled feet. Each cooking rack is just over 12" x 12". That being said, enough room to do a lot of food. I wanted the wide model of this smoker, but this will do fine for years.
Cover was purchased with the smoker as a set and is also well made. Heavier material than expected.
Definitely recommend this smoker for an initial adventure into smoking food.

Flawed design
I bought this online and it was shipped to mw. I put it together and all seemed fine. Unfortunately some small issues became apparent. The small pins/bolts ( riveted no thread) came loose from the latches. I managed to fix this problem. I purchased another guage to observe the heat at a different level and drilled my hole and sealed it with some lava lock. First use turned out pretty well. About two weeks later I decided to do some whole chickens and some ribs. This didnt turn out so well. There was an unusual film on the food to the point of me scissoring off the skin before eating. Like soot or something. The following day I went to clean my smoker out and I notice some debri on the walls of the smoker. I sprayed it with water and paint started flaking away, some sections it was like paper but a rubbery feel. I never got over 250 when I was cooking so heat should not have been the issue. Behind the sections that are peeling away is a rusty color to the metal. I went from very pleased with this smoker to really disqusted. There has to be a flaw in the paint used or something. Why use paint on the inside of the smoker that cant handle low heat? The outside of the smokers paint still looks great. Very disappointing.

Quick setup for anyone that can read.
Box is well packed, instructions were missing but found them 10 mins later inside big box under the cardboard at one end. Not a good place to put them really.
Only put enough charcoal to fill the bottom for the seasoning. You don't want to over heat it, if so, start pulling out pieces of charcoal to calm it down.
Open doors to check your food, throws pretty good heat, I would't recommend filling the charcoal box to the top and walking away to shovel the driveway... It will burn your food..
Doors leak a bit but not worth fixing just yet.

Seams leak, but once plugged it woeks great
I got this smoker for christmas, and santa gave it to me early so that i could put it together abd season it. It went together very well, and everything was was wraped great. After everything was done i noted that the fire box did not seat well against the smoke chamber. I used a couple of old smoke pencils to see how bad it was, and I was very surprised. Smoke was leaking from everywhere.
I had a new tube of hi temp silicone which I caulked all of the leaking seams. I also had a roll of hi temp self adhesive gasket 1/2x1/8 and went around both doors. I also caulked the temperature gauge in the door and what a big difference.
After doing all of this the United worked fantastically.

Cooked an 8 pound ribeye roast today. It worked just great!
