Mine is doing the same. Worked great last year, never a problem holding in till warmed up. Now that doesn't work. As soon as you release the prime so the knob comes out, gas shuts off. My guess from seeing other input is a thermocoupler problem. So now I will learn what that is and how to replace it.
Yes.
I would imagine you could. We use ours to heat our garage which is where everyone gathers. We also use it in door at deer camp.
Charlie... where did you find that small propane fire pit?
MR M. NO PROBLEM WITH USING IT IN A GARAGE AT AL! I USE MINE IN A SPACE SMALLER THE THAT. I USE MINE IN A MANCAVE IN MY LARGE GARAGE. THEY HEAT UP SO QUICK, I ONLY LEAVE MINE ON 15 MINUTE'S TO GET IT TOASTY IN HERE! JUST BE CAREFULL WITH FLAMABLE LIQUID'S AROUND IT! . GOOD LUCK! JERRY
Yes, as long as your outside it will be fine to use.
No one will recommend this due to safety concerns but.... I lived in a mobile home for a few years and dealt with this every winter. Even when insulated well, the vinyl under penning was just not good enough on a -0 evening. I used a kerosene torpedo heater and stood by with a fire extinguisher. It sounds hillbilly, but only takes about 10 minutes max to get the pipes thawed. IF you are diligent with watching the heater and point it on a slightly downward angle it does fine.. Take it for what it's worth
Yes I use the same tank for my grill as well as my heater and other propane items as well.
I use a 20 lb tank but if the 100 lb has the same fittings it will work fine.
if you have a supply line already, just T it and but on the proper hose-i would install a shut off to the supply though
