home depots product overview says "residential" but dynaglos rep in other post says "industrial, construction" I wouldnt , but is this home safe with ventilation?
Asked by: eddd
I don’t see why not. Would not be my first choice for the house, but very little odor from my unit. So other than not putting anything in front of it (exhaust gets pretty hot) and you can tolerate the noise (it is a bit loud), go for it.

I have a 50x80 insulated shop. I already have heaters inside the building who could heat it, but their primary purpose is to keep the shop from freezing inside. I am looking for a heater to heat up a working area quickly when I actually go outside to work. Based on this information, would this be the best size for me or would it be overkill and I could get by with the next size smaller unit? Thank-you in advance for any suggestions.

my UNINSULATED garage, 23x30 heats up to 70 in about 10/15 minutes when 20 degrees outside on LOW,, really puts out heat. i wouldn't go smaller,, will work harder,, this thing just goes right along,, i put 110 volt thermostat from home depot into elec outlet about chest high,, did not like the thermostat on unit at floor level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heat Master ! Purchased online 12/30/18 and had it shipped to my local store. Picked up 01/0419. Assembly a breeze, filled it up, plugged it in and turned it on. fired off without hesitation. Room temp at start was 41 degrees. In 17 minutes this BEAST heated my uninsulated 24x28 open rafter garage to 70 degrees !!! burning diesel fuel and there is ABSOLUTELY no diesel fumes in the garage. Happy, Happy customer.
