You might be able to run it on bio diesel. Can't imagine why not. The run great on Diesel or kerosene. Not sure on the vegetable one.

Don't monkey around with trying to order. Two solutions: 1. Get some 1/2 inch conduit and bend your own. 2. Get a short łength of rod or tube that will slide snuggly inside the break and drill and bolt above and below the break, or weld at the break.
