Small, compact and very easy to set up and use. I love this grill. Got a small portable cover and fits nicely tucked away when not in use.

Not top-of-the-line but does the job
If your not expecting top of the line then this is a good grill. Used it once at home to test it then took it camping. It works well & has a decent amount of space. Bad things is there is a giant gap in the rear when you close the lid so there won't be any long term slow cooking or smoking. Also like one of the other reviews, you can't remove the bottom grate so getting the ashes & whatever falls through is gonna be a small task since everything is one piece. Tipping it over is a little difficult. I eventually just unscrewed it off to do it. But if you're looking for a portable charcoal grill I'd give it a chance. Really hard to find one like this

I love my new grill! We made 12 chicken legs the first night and they turned out wonderful with plenty of room to grill. The cook surface is spacious, and it is well ventilated on top and bottom for even cooking. It was easy to assemble and folds down to transport anywhere. We can take it camping or any event that a BBQ would make better. Charcoal is the way to go, and this grill does the job! The lid and legs lock into place when folded and the wheels (although plastic) seem sturdy enough to take anywhere.

This is a great little compact and mobile grill. It has the unique ability of collapsing like a TV table. I haven't used it yet but it is sturdy and has a very good grate on it which should provide good grilling and clean up. It's a nice size for small to medium sized grilling plans. It wasn't hard to assemble but if you're a novice an extra set of hands won't hurt. It comes with instructions but dont overtighten the screws.

This Dyna Glo charcoal grill is just what we've been looking for. Have been using a football shaped portable grill for the past couple years, but it is way too small, as it takes a full refill to cook everything. This new grill has three hundred and thirteen sq. inches of cooking area, enough for everything at once. The porcelain grilling grate is long lasting, but doesn't clean easily. Had to soak overnight. We decided to fill up the grill to its limit and enjoy leftovers. There was a porterhouse steak, butterflied lamb, and lots of chicken wings. It cooked everything great. There are two adjustable air openings. One along the front of the grill for intake and the other on the top for smoke. They adjust to regulate the cooking temperature. Assembly was fairly easy. We did it in less than a half hour. There are wheels on one end and feet on the other. It has a collapsible cart that allows for easy transport and storage. There are two latches to hold in the folded position and a slide lock on the grill lid. The plastic side table is good for utensils.

Yes it has wheels, but when I think portable I imagine taking any item from one place to another. I don't see taking this to a park unless you have a truck. On the other hand it has a very good size grill that can easily hold several burgers and a rack of ribs. The metal is thicker than I imagined and it put together in about an hour. Air vents on the front and on top provides good air flow. Good distance between coals and food. Enough room for some wood chips. Lid has a lock, bottom grill that holds coals in screwed down, but can be removed for cleaning.

I would have given this grill 5 stars except that it is hard (for me anyway) to empty the ashes. It also could use nuts that thread on a bit further. I suspect that I will have to replace a couple of them. Of course, it could just be that I didn't understand the directions well enough (they are just drawings, no written instructions - I like both). I do love that it can be stored with the legs down, plus it is easy to move around when folded down - wheels like a dolly. I don't have a place to store a grill inside, and we have very high winds. My old grill always ended up on its side. The one feature I would have preferred would have been if the shelf could have been made to mount on the righthand side instead of the left (but would have required the wheels moving to the other side also). It is still good this way, and I do like the grill. My one little steak looks rather lonesome on it, but it will be great when we can have gatherings once more.

A very well-made product that I’ll never use twice. The Dyna-Glow portable charcoal grill with side tray has a steel firebox with durable black porcelain coating inside and out. The food grate is removable, and porcelain coated. The briquet grate on the bottom is not removable which IMO creates an issue. The legs are steel tubing that has been powder coated and the wheels are hollow plastic. The grill cooking area is approx. 19 by 17 inches and there is no height adjustment for the food grill it is what it is. There is an air flow grate on the front of the lower half and in the center of the top half. The whole unit weighs in at approx. 33 lbs. stands about 3 feet high when deployed and approx. 18 inches high and four feet long when collapsed. Assembly time was about 45 minuets and will require two people to attach the legs to the grill body. The side table is plastic for easy maintenance and a real nice feature to have. I always do a test burn off with some briquets before I cook on any new grill to get rid of any contaminates or oils. It was after this test burn when I realized that the bottom grate did not come out and I needed to turn the whole grill over to dump out all the ash, what a mess and a no go for me ever using this grill again. I figured I’d make the best of it and test how easy it was to move the grill around with ashes in it, another total mess. The latch that holds the top to the bottom will not stay latch and the top readily flops open letting the ash to fall out everywhere. The action of deploying the grill to working height is not too difficult however the reverse is, and I would not try it when the grill is still hot. When in the collapsed state there are spring clips on each side to keep it in the collapsed state when moving the grill around. Things I did not like, non-removable ash grate, poor bottom to top keep closed latch, difficult to collapse and difficult to assemble legs to grill. Things I did like is the quality of the product is outstanding, well made, fits together well and excellent quality components. I could overlook the assembly difficulty and the inoperable latch but the whole ash removal is a deal breaker for me. If you can deal with the ash removal issue this is a really nice grill that will last a long time and can be put up in the winter and takes up little space.
