Perfect for hard floor touch-up, fast and easy
We bought this 6 months ago and it has worked great. You just grab it from the wall mount and zoom it over the floor. It gets all of the cat and dog hair, dust, crumbs and other stuff that ends up on the floor. We mounted it on a wall behind a door that opens to the pantry in a very small spot. The best thing about this vacuum is how small it is. We clean the removable roller in warm water and wipe the base clean about every two weeks. We hope that Dyson continues to sell a unit like this one due to its size. No othe vacuum on the market fit our needs like this one.

Very disappointed
I bought this to keep as a supplement to our vacuum robot. We have 3 dogs & the robot doesn’t always get all the hair. This Dyson is a huge disappointment. It doesn’t work very well, not even good sometimes, picking up pet hair. Most of the time it literally just pushes it around instead of sucking it. Eventually it just collects the hair in between rollers & doesn’t vacuum at all. It is more powerful on the max feature but even then it doesn’t do the job & battery runs out very quickly.

Great for Hard Floor, Glide Wheels Need Redesign
Great light weight tool, charges fast. As an engineer, I think I may modify the glide wheels so they are easily removable for cleaning. I use tweezers between charging and blower to clean. I have two Riccar vacuums for carpets but hate bags, so my next vacuum will be a Dyson.

Dad has patents w/ competitor but I use Dyson
This is the perfect vacuum for a small apt; small, super-effective, totally eliminates that NYC grime. As your average New Yorker, I have a very compact space, too much furniture, and the hustle and bustle of the city meant sweeping every day. Then I got a Maine Coon, so I had to get a vacuum; luckily, this took up the same amount of space as the dustpan. Now I spend less time cleaning more grime.
My one major gripe with this product—and this does surprise me as Dyson are very operable—are the 4 wheels on the omnidirectional soft roller cleaner. Those 4 wheels are magnets for hair! Multiple times a week, I find myself using an exacto to cut the hair out. However, the omni ability to move under a couch, get into small spaces, and compact size is enough to rule out the larger, non-omni "animal" model.
Please add pins that are easily removable to the next iteration of this model. You could even sell ones to replace the existing ones since the platform they are mounted on is removable.

Easy and Convenient To Use!!
This is my “go to” vacuum. I have other vacuums but I always use the Dyson Omni Glide. It is lightweight and very maneuverable. When I seen it was strictly for floors, I had to have it. My house does not have carpeting so this vacuum is perfect. I am able to get in areas that other vacuums can’t go because the pivoting brush. It also drops down low to get under furniture. I have not had any problems with battery life. Yes the dust bin is small but for me that is not an issue. I like that I don’t have to pick hair out of the rollers. Storage is easy. I just place it on the charging dock. When I need it I just take it off the charging dock. The vacuum also comes with a brush/crevice attachment for clean ups in tight places. I recommend this vacuum for its power and ease of use.

Addicted to Vacuum after 2 months review
I need to downgrade the rating from 5 to 3 stars after 2 months of usage. There is a design issue on the four little wheels at the bottom of the mopping module. Dust can be caught up on the axle of the wheels easily which ends up paralyzing the movement. To clean it up, you need to have a fine tweezer reaching to less than 2 mm gap. Since I vacuum every day, it becomes a hassle cleaning up every other day. And it will take 10-15 minutes to do it.

I can confirm that the small wheels on the bottom of your cleaner head do need to be maintained on a fairly regular basis, more so if you vacuum more often, or have shedding pets in the home. The easiest way to accomplish that is with tweezers or even a very small pair of sewing scissors. You may find that you're having to do this after each clean, just to ensure that the hair isn't able to accumulate and get stuck under the wheels, which could cause further damage.

Easiest floor cleaner ever!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this a little over a week and it is awesome. Cat and dog dry food pieces on the floor is a thing of the past. Tracked cat litter is gone. Very lightweight and easy to use. It ‘slides’ easily across the floor and it picks up the smallest particles. Great in the kitchen to pickup those small pieces the fall off the counter. I have spot cleaned all over my house on one charge.
It mounts on the wall with ease with the included mounting hardware, it even includes a pencil.

Very capable but not perfect
After a few weeks of use, I've been happy overall with this vacuum. It does a great job picking up cat hair, dust, and crumbs from wood and cement floors. The only real negatives are the battery life (could be bigger) and the power head size (could be a bit larger). Using the high power mode is ideal, especially for cat litter and heavier dirt, but that really drains the battery quickly. The omnidirectional power head movement and soft rollers spinning in opposite directions (push everything to the central suction port) are both excellent design features. Value for dollar, I would definitely buy this unit again.

Light, easy to use, efficient
I bought this to deal with daily cleaning of litter tracking. We have vinyl plank flooring throughout, and this vacuum fits my needs perfectly. I empty the canister daily because it's so easy to do so. The vacuum swivels everywhere it needs to go with plenty of power. This is for small jobs, not for vacuuming your entire house. The YouTube video on installing the charger on the wall further simplified my life. The vacuum is always charged when I need it. This product is a boon for this arthritis sufferer. Well done, Dyson, and thank you.
