The grabber is just what we needed to remove trash items that find their way into the stream next to our building. There is an 8 foot high stone wall that contains it and the grabber reaches the water and makes retrieving any bottle or plastic bag, ect very easy! It is a little cumbersome to slide the black plastic over the metal at the connections, to make it straight, but once done it works well.

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to return this. There is a mechanism to "lock" the clamp into place, but it doesn't hold together when you are gripping and pulling. The item slips right through as if there is not "lock" at all.
