How to open the cross fire line package?
I just purchased the SRM266 gas string trimmer and there was no support harness or other items needed for the operation of the trimmer n the box?
Hi Greg! The SRM-266 does not come standard with a shoulder strap. However, ECHO offers a shoulder strap (#99944200200) or harness (#99944200202) as an accessory.
Why are the commentators referring to .095 thickness line when this is clearly labeled .080???? So confusing. Just bought a ryobi battery string trimmer and it takes .080 TWISTED trimmer line. Is this that?
It does not say .80 it says .95. It will not fit your ryobi

Should you soak the line in water for 24 hours before use
Honestly why not their ain’t nothing wrong with doing that. I use it straight out the box I spoil it out about 5-6ft cut and load the wacker. Weed eater good luck

Hi Richard! Soaking the trimmer line is not required. However, as the line ages, the line may become more brittle. That is the time we would recommend soaking the trimmer line in water. If you notice more breakage than normal, you can give that a try.
I went to use this for the first time tonight, pulled maybe 10 feet of line out and then it stuck on the container. It feels like something is catching on the container. This is my first time using this so I?m not sure how to get it out further.
