Hi there! You should be using a 50:1 ratio with 89 through 93 Octane fuel provided the oil is ISO-L-EGD and JASO M345 FD certified. Simply mix 1 gallon of gasoline (89 through 93 octane) with 2.6 ounces of ECHO brand oil, or use ECHO Red Armor Pre-Mix, which measures out a 50:1 ratio for you.

Thanks for your question. We are sorry to hear about the difficulties you have experienced with your blower. When starting a cold engine, do not pull the starter rope more than 3 times with the choke in the cold start position. If the unit does not start after the third pull, move the choke to the run position and pull the starter rope to start the unit. If the starter rope is continuously pulled while the choke is in the cold start position, the engine with flood. If you are still experiencing issues with starting your unit, please contact ECHO's Consumer Support Department at 800-432-ECHO (3246). Our representatives are available Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm CST.
