Q:I have a CS-590 Timberwolf with a 24? bar, it?s an Oregon replacement. The Timberwolf had a 24? as an option once The larger case specifically says that it will not fit a CS-590. Does anyone have any experience fitting the CS-599 with a longer bar?

Fits Stihl 261C
Bought this for my Stihl 261C. Fits nicely with space for the oil and tools. Easy to get the saw in and out and the square shape of the case allows for stacking and storage. This is a better design than what Stihl makes, highly recommend.

Echo CS-590 (20") DOES NOT FIT in Echo case
This is branded as an 'Echo' case, but is actually a generic mold, also sold under 'MTD' and 'Jonsered' labels.
Scabbord fits into a molded slot in the case; once inserted the angle is nearly level.
The chainsaw bar however, is angled 'up' (see picture). When placed into case, tip of chain bar is forced down, and as a consequence, the chainsaw handle pops up; think "Teeter-Tauter" effect. The saw will not sit flat in the case.
Unbelievably Poor for a branded accessory!!

Didn't fit Dewalt DCCS670, but I wish it did.
Seems like a good case! But it doesn't fit the Dewalt DCCS670. Don't even bother if that's the saw you're buying this for.

This exactly fit the bill for me. I wanted a hard case for my Echo CS-310 to strap down in the back of my UTV. I LOVE there is extra room inside the case for oil and fuel, along with molded places to put extra spark plug, chains, adjustment tool and a file. I can even get hearing protection, gloves and eye protection in there! Before this stuff was bouncing around in the back of the side-by-side. Now it's all in one case, securely ratchet strapped to the bed. Well done!

The chest is working out just fine so far. It has lots of space and was easy to assemble. That being said, certain parts, like hinges, were already assembled and that leads me to believe I received a product that had been returned (thus the 4 stars). I inspected every part thoroughly and found not a scratch on it, so I assembled the rest of it and kept it.

Does Not properly Fit my Echo Saw.
Easy to assemble with a little muscle. Good quality and appears rugged. But!!!! Does not properly fit my Echo CS-620P. I can get it to go in by moving diagonally, but the outer "Spiked Bumper" interferes with the case and the door and the door is hard to close. The length with the bumper does not allow the handle to set down into the relief made for the shape of the saw, and the door will not close without the bumper putting dents in the door. I expected a better case from Echo who manufactures both the case and saw. The sole reason I purchased this case over the Husqvarna Powerbox Chainsaw Case was not knowing it would fit my saw for sure and knowing the Echo would. But I was mistaken.
