A:  I would not use on squirrels.

A:  Thank you for your question. RatX will not work on squirrels.

A:  Yes, I bought Ratx. It doesn’t work good. It seems the mice doesn’t consume it.

A:  Thank you for question. The rats will eat the bait like a food source and Rat-X will cause dehydration. Rats have stomach sensors that tells them when they are thirsty. When they eat this bait, it turns off their stomach sensors and it can no longer tell their brain to drink water. The rat or mouse will then dehydrate and dry out so there will be no odor.

A:  Well of course decomposing rat bodies are going to smell, more or less depending on your climate. In a dry climate like the Southwest, not so much. But in a damp or humid climate, they will smell more as they are decomposing. If you're having this issue, you simply need to check your traps more often and remove the carcasses before they reach such a state of decomposition. It's a matter of timing.

A:  I don't smell anything in the attic. Still smells like an attic

A:  Can’t say I have because of the rain but most likely they will stink

A:  I saw no results from this product. Because I mixed it with peanut butter it was entirely consumed and I continued to see rodents scurrying around. I think it even attracted more-- DO not use-- Did not work at all

A:  Yes, I only found one of the dead rats even though I had many more. The website says they usually die in their nest/borough.

A:  Yes, the bait is consumed as a food source as part of a rat’s & mice natural eating habit. After ingestion, dehydration commences causing blood thickening & circulatory collapse, whereby rats & mice become lethargic, retreat to their burrow, lapse into a coma and die.

A:  They eat the bait then when it takes effect the rodents seek out water. You'll likely find them dead near a water source.

A:  I never seen them return, so something happened. :)

A:  Don't know. They wouldn't touch it.

A:  No they won't die instantly. It will be a day or so.

A:  yes. the mice eat the pellets and they die within 1-3 days.

A:  Yes Luckily they go off somewhere else and die.
