Hello Marlene. Yes, this product is a great choice for general cleaning and removing residue. Depending on how resilient the residue is, you may want to use Ecolab Scientific Clean HD Citrus Degreaser and rinse off the degreaser before cleaning with this product.

Hello Steve and thanks for coming to us with this question. Our No Rinse Neutral Floor cleaner will be great for everyday floor care, but you may need a product specialized for targeting efflorescence. If you wish to try our product for this situation, make sure to first test it on an inconspicuous area of the floor.
Hello, ronnie, Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. This product is safe for all sealed, water-washable floors, including VCT. Therefore, your new VCT tile must be sealed before using this product. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future.
Hello Marga and thank you for this question. The dull look after using the No Rinse Floor Cleaner can come from a few different avenues. If the area being cleaned was very dirty, then the mop is transferring the dirt from one area to the next even though the chemistry is lifting it up. To fix this, start with a fresh & clean mop, a clean mop bucket and an area to wring out dirty water from the mop (i.e. not back into the same use solution). Some floors, like quarry tile and some LV, wood or laminate floors for example are clean when they are dull, not shiny as shiny can mean it's still greasy (again depending on your flooring and soil type). Another option would be after cleaning, while it's drying but still slightly damp, to go back over the cleaned area with a clean micro fiber pad following the wood grain pattern direction. Hope these suggestions are helpfull to you.
There are a few things you can try to restore the shine to your laminate floor: 1. **Double-check the dilution:** Ensure you followed the correct dilution ratio of 1 oz. per gallon of water for light cleaning or 4 oz. per gallon of water for heavier cleaning. Over-concentrating the solution can sometimes leave a residue. 2. **Rinse with clean water:** After mopping with the cleaning solution, try mopping again with plain, clean water to remove any remaining residue. 3. **Vinegar solution:** A mild vinegar solution can sometimes help remove residue and restore shine. Mix a cup of white vinegar with a gallon of warm water and mop the floor. Be sure to rinse with clean water afterward. 4. **Commercial floor polish:** If the dullness persists, consider using a commercial floor polish specifically designed for laminate floors. Follow the product instructions carefully. You can find a variety of floor polishes at The Home Depot. If the issue continues, please consult the flooring manufacturer's care instructions or contact their customer support for specific recommendations.
