1 Gal. Premium Carpet Shampoo Concentrate

This carpet shampoo really cleans well.This best part is that it’s concentrated, so that it will actually make 128 gallons. This is not a heavily perfumed shampoo that you can smell for days, it has a very nice light scent. I used this on a foot stool that was very dirty, as this is where the dog likes to lay. I used a small Bissell carpet cleaner with warm water. This Ecolab cleaner really did a great job. The fact that it’s concentrated and is a gallon size, this should last me through a long time of cleaning.

Ecolab’s Premium Carpet Shampoo Concentrate arrived in a substantially heavy-duty cardboard box with extra padding, inside a plastic bag with tape wrapped around the lid in addition to the seal under the lid. It also came with five pages front and back on safety precautions…. MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet). As such I was a little concerned and somewhat hesitant to use the product given all the extra precautions. However, after doing some additional research on similar products it seemed there was no inordinate amount of precaution on the use of the Ecolab product. It is just that with the product shipped directly to me, they are required to supply the MSDS; whereas, when picking the item off the shelf one would have to ask for a copy of the MSDS should they desire. Retailers would be required to maintain copies of the MSDS for all chemical products they use or sell. With that said, I used both safety glasses and rubber gloves when handling the product particularly prior to dilution. The Ecolab’s shampoo concentrate is used at a dilution ratio of 1oz per gallon of water. Thus, the gallon jug is sufficient to mix up 128 gallons of carpet cleaning solution. The tank on my Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe™ carpet shampooer has a two-gallon tank so this product should last quite a long time and allow for a lot of carpet cleaning, which is great since most rooms in my house are carpeted. I only recently obtained the Hoover shampooer, so my carpeting has not been cleaned in a while save for vacuuming and spot cleaning with a spray cleaner such as Resolve™ along with the very infrequent machine rental. Thus, some high traffic areas have become noticeably discolored. I decided to try the Ecolab product in one such area. After first testing for color fastness on a corner of the carpeting behind a chair, I then did an area of about 1 foot by 2 feet at a room entrance way where the discoloration was quite bad. The before and after images clearly show a vast improvement, though I did go over the area more than once to achieve the result. Still, the product did well and now I have the prospect of being able to do several hundred more square feet of carpeting! I recommend this product based on achieving an improved result, but admittedly cannot compare my results against similar products as to whether it cleans better, is more economical, or requires less effort.

A very nice concentrated liquid. It’s clear when adding it to my shampooer it’s not real Suzi as it’s running through the machine has a decent fragrance if any at all seems to clean well like I said there really isn’t an odor if anything it’s more of a fresh clean smell, but not overpowering and not real perfume me or flowery. I used one pass with the cleaner and the solution on the carpet. It seemed to do a great job the concentration level was good.

I need to clean some big area rugs and I wanted to try and remove some set in stains on my car carpet and floor mats. I followed the directions for mixing a diluted spot treatment solution in a spray bottle. The liquid has a pleasant scent and is not too strong or nauseating. I let the solution work for a few minutes before agitating it slightly with a clean towel and then soaking it up. I then rinsed out the towel, squeezed out the water and wiped the carpet again. The floor mat I treated and let sit before hosing it off completely and letting it dry. The car carpet cleaned up decently and is a lot less noticeable. The floor mat cleaned up completely. I am happy with how well this carpet shampoo works and it is easy to use.

This product is a great carpet shampoo that you can use on any carpet with any electrical shampooer or just using it in a bucket mixed with water and a scrub brush, just using good old fashioned elbow grease. I have also successfully used it on upholstery using my hand held shampooer. It cleans stains and everyday dirt from use. It can also be used on cloth car seats! Love it!

This is a very good carpet cleaner and upholstery cleaner as well. You can use it for spot cleaning of carpet in a shampooer or even cleaning upholstery deluded. I used it to spot clean the carpet and it did a great job. I’m looking forward to cleaning all my carpets in the spring with it, as it has a much lighter scent as the item that I previously used to clean the carpets. My nose is pretty sensitive so a less chemical smell is great.

So, the label says this is a 3-in-1 formula that cleans, deodorizes, and lifts stains in one easy step. It’s TOTALLY TRUE! (❀✧ ◡ ✧❀) I used this EcoLab carpet shampoo on our new carpet that was soiled during the move-in, and I am really pleased with the results. It is compatible with my new carpet and floor cleaner, too, and I could literally see the dirt and stains getting a good shampooing — leaving fresh, clean smelling carpet once the dirty water was extracted out. I also used this EcoLab shampoo with my smaller cleaner to deodorize the light-color upholstered sofas in our family room, and I have to say: “I was pleased yet again!” I used the heat setting as a steam cleaner to get the job done, and it worked wonders… with no bleaching. Only freshness abounds!╰(*◕◡◕*)╯ We just bought our new home, and I hope using the EcoLab 3-in-1 formula for regular and extra cleaning will help keep the carpet in good condition for many years to come… our sofas and curtains, too, for that matter!

I got this to use since we decided to shampoo all of our carpeted rooms. We rented a shampoo machine and used this premium carpet shampoo from Ecolab. This is my first time using this particular product and I would definitely use it again. This is their Pro Formula which is used for deep cleaning and stain removal (4X stronger). Also, it's more economical to get the larger size (1 gallon, which makes 128 gallons) if you plan to do bigger areas or shampoo multiple times. I didn't want to run out in the middle of the project! It was shipped protected in a plastic bag with absorbent material in case there was any leaking, so if you plan to order online no worries. Otherwise pick it up in store. The directions are easy to follow and the product is easy to use. We were very satisfied with how the product worked. We have lighter colored carpeting in our rooms, so stains stand out! We hosted Thanksgiving and had a lot of people staying with us, including some pets, and we were absolutely needing to shampoo the carpets afterwards. All in all a great product.

I hoped this product would take care of some carpet stains left from someone who rented the room from me. It did help but you will see from the pictures that some of the stains are still there. I pre-spotted the stains and then used my steam cleaner. I might go over it one more time to see if it helps, keeping my fingers crossed. It smells good and is easy to use.

Super concentrated shampoo means 1 gallon goes a LONG way. "No" residual smell. Quite effective at stain removal on supper-dirty traffic areas, though there were some presumed red wine spots that didn't fully go away.
