A: Thank you for your question. Thank you for your interest in purchasing an EMCO 100 Series Storm Door. Yes, you can installed it as a replacement for a 2011 model doublewide storm door. Please note, to install a double door, you need to purchase two single doors and an astragal kit. The astragal kit works in conjunction with two storm doors and is available for all standard and custom sizes and colors. The astragal is the center section between the fixed and functioning door. General installation requirements for a double door are the same for a single door. Please go to the nearest Home Depot store in your area and inquire about the door you like. - Arnie

Q:In the specs it says the door is 80" and then 78". Which is it. I'm looking for a door 2" shorter than 80"

A: Thank you for your question. The slab measurement of a 36” inches x 80” inches size storm door is 35-1/8” x 79-1/8” inches. The measurement that you have indicated looks like you need a custom size door. However, the EMCO 100 Series Self-Storing Storm Door is not available in custom size. You may get interested with other model of storm doors that are available in custom size. Please visit www.stormdoors.com to check for the different models of storm doors that we manufacture. You can also visit the nearest Home Depot store in your area and inquire about the door you like. Gaps

Door seal is not good can see big gaps at each corner.and door says do not return to store .made by Anderson this is terrible I wish more people put honest reviews out there.

I had to replace it for 2nd time, in 10 year period. 1st time they covered replacement door under warranty, but 2nd time they denied warranty. Anderson said it was physical damage which it was but it happened do to swelling from water entering bottom of door frame and swelling partial board at bottom panel...

Core rotted in under 3 years.

Andersen honored the warranty, so to speak. I could pay over $70 to get a replacement or $200-$300 to get upgraded replacement. For free, they will send another panel to my local Home Depot, if the store will order it. It has to be picked up when it arrives, old door taken apart and the new panel assembled with that old hardware and l need to have it installed. Next time, l will buy from another company.

Used to be decent product

These doors have become relative garbage in a matter of a few years. We previously purchased a 200 series door to install unto a porch rough opening of about 81.5 inches. The frame rails were 80.5 inches (both sides) The new product has rails that are significantly shorter by at least 1.5 inches and will not cover the previous installation profile. Also noticed the final QA is very poor. Our door had glue residue all over it and glue fingerprints from whoever put it together. Won't buy again.
