The FORTRESS OSHA Stair System provides safe and convenient access to temporary or permanent structures. Its modularity and adjustability allows the flexibility needed to accommodate virtually any layout and a wide range of entrance heights. This durable, aluminum stair system can be used in all weather conditions and is built to take on the rigors of high-traffic, repeated use. Available in 2 sizes, each offering code compliant ingress and egress.

Platform and riser legs adjust independently to accommodate uneven ground conditions allowing for simple, on-site leveling
Adjusts from 27.5 in. to 42.5 in. H (OSHA compliant at 34 in. and 42.5 in.)
Made of aircraft quality, corrosion-resistant aluminum, which stands up to the rigors of high-traffic use and harsh environments for years of maintenance-free access
Easy-to-install 96 in. canopy included for overhead protection from the elements, the rust-resistant canopy features an aluminum frame with 22-Gauge galvanized steel roof, attaches directly to the FORTRESS OSHA Stair system, which means no footings or building alterations are needed
Canopy features a sturdy, boxed-frame design for superior strength and durability and all fittings are made of high-quality aluminum or galvanized steel, the 4-post canopy has cross member supports for wind load resistance

It met my needs

I needed some steps for my mobile home. However, all the ones I saw were either rickety, ugly, or just too heavy for me to move around occasionally for cleaning or work under my mobile home. Although not very attractive, the welds were very sloppy looking, and the fixturing for welding was not very consistent, it still met my needs--light enough to move by myself (I'm a handicapped septuagenarian) yet strong enough to handle even a refrigerator delivery once I modified it. I added skirting around the platform and steps and replaced the railing with more attractive ones.
